If you live in Northern New Jersey, and you are an avid gardener who loves exploring garden centers that truly care about the product they sell, you will have a wonderful experience at Glenwild Garden Center. We love what we do, and so will you. Alexander J. MacKenn Sr. started his landscape business in 1928. After getting a degree in Landscape Design & Horticulture, Alex Jr. started designing and running crews in 1962, and he and his father worked together for at least 20 busy years. Then the third generation came in. In 1990, Brad, now a Certified Landscape Architect, came on full time, and then Jodie started in 1992. The business truly is " a labor of love" for this family. - SJSte JaMar 21, 20265.0What a FANTASTIC garden center. They have the most knowledgeable and friendly people. Large selection of plants, trees, shrubs, many varieties of soil too. And they have classes too. Took one today about bonsai. It was great! Highly recommend

I walked in the door and there was this adorable poem set up sitting there.Looking at me.PERFECT! I noticed there was a lot of cute stuff that I didn't have time to look at.I will be returning.. Very friendly
