    Typical big box diy. When they have clothing I realize it's all about money not so much as being a building store.There was a chain store I think it was called builders HQ that sold clothing, bikes, etc. as well as building supplies. They went under I think because of this Watch out Lowes!

    Called Lowes because the countertop I purchased on September 22, 2025 is complete junk. Its called Strata white with gray streaking. The finish actually chips right off the particle board base. I'm 4 days late according to their warranty and I asked if they extend it due to the holidays. Answer: NO!!! Call the manufacturer!!! The counter was just installed 2 weeks ago. I thought they had a rude tone, and were not willing to make any exception for selling junk. We've done many kitchens and have NEVER had this happen before. The reviews I'm reading currently, have the same issues. The countertop chips like eggshell. Garbage! Do not buy Strata countertop. You'll regret it. Two weeks installed cracks in several areas. Read other reviews before purchasing!! Other companies make exceptions when there are extended holidays involved. Lowe's does NOT!!

    Tried to return a smoker that was unopened and purchased less than 90 days ago and the manager said they don’t take clearance returns. When I bought the smoker, I reviewed the return policy online in the store before I bought it to make sure I would be able to return it. When I told her it wasn’t in the policy, and she said it’s all over their website - which is a total lie. I told her I have it pulled up, and asked her to point it out and she pivoted to “i can’t sell that in December”. But you can’t just make policies to suit the mood! Not to mention, the same policy on their websites is printed on a huge website behind the counter and also says nothing about clearance items. I asked for a different manager, and she said no. I called customer service and they said there is no reason I shouldn’t have been able to return the smoker. She was unbelievably rude and just lied about not being able to complete the return

    Flooring area was cluttered where I had to move displays to get a cart through. Management doesn't seem to care about the store, workers acted like I did them a disservice showing up. Aside from that, a standard experience - no great deals, mediocre selection.
