  This is a very workman-like place. Dave seems to really know his stuff. After listening to our ideas and measuring our site, he was able to give us an estimate on the spot. This was much better for us than waiting at least a few days for other estimates we received. It appears very hard for a busy contractor to estimate when they can get to the work due to people changing job desirements during the job. Once our project was started the crew was professional and did a great job. They finished in 3 days just as estimated even though we also added a bit extra. Highly recommend. Best price and best work for our retaining wall.

  Jensen Retaining Walls did a fantastic job for us. We had been ripped off by a different contractor and Dave and his team came in, removed the shoddy work that had been done, and built us a wall that more than exceeded our expectations. This wall is over 100 feet long and it is as straight as an arrow. I think this wall will be standing longer than our house! Thank you so much!

  Jensen did a retaining wall at my neighbors house. They left all of their materials (large piles of gravel, dirt and bricks) in front of my house on my mulch beds for more than two weeks (the workers were there the whole day and would stand around on their phones and play loud Spanish rap music from 7am to 5pm). After they were finished, my mulch beds were completely ruined but they did leave trash bags full of mulch on my front porch, I thought that was a nice gesture even though the damage was annoying. I called to request that they come lay the mulch as I am 7 months pregnant which I explained to the owners wife who answered the phone. Much to my dismay she had very poor customer service skills and was quite rude and unprofessional, disregarding this exchange I requested that they send workers to repair the damages and I left my address and phone number to possibly schedule a time for someone to come by. About 30 minutes later my doorbell rang. I was home alone and on the phone with my father when I was startled by a strange man on my front porch 😳 so I decided to stay on the phone with my dad due to the irie feeling in my gut incase something would happen (God forbid). I hesitantly opened the door to learn the strange man was Dave Jensen, the owner. He made me feel very intimidated as he aggressively protested laying the mulch by questioning me about how far along I was in my pregnancy implying I should lay it myself and also told me that I shouldn't be "bitching" about mulch beds. It was very unsettling. During our interaction I told him that he should practice better business by leaving the environment the way it was when they arrived. He continued to disagree with me and said "go ahead and write a bad review about me on google. I don't care. We will handle it the same way we do with all of our bad reviews and it won't affect me". I said "okay then I will, it's your business not mine". He then left without fixing the mulch beds. That was the end of our interaction. I am completely distraught that he came to my house in that manner and had the audacity to take that approach to a 25 year old woman who is 7 months pregnant. All I asked was that he or his workers lay the mulch as I am not physically capable. Also, if you're looking for a review on their quality of work I would not recommend, the work appears unfinished.
