On my way to Menards today I decided to give Lowe’s a shot. With painting projects in the near future, I picked up a nice little six piece paint kit from Purdy on sale for $19.98. At check out, the item rang up for the normal price of $24.98. I questioned the customer service attendant. They asked me to go take a picture of the sales sticker. (Which they should have done for me but of course I did to save time). When I returned with the proof, they said no this sale is for a smaller kit. The item was right on the end cap of the isle and was clearly the item that should have been on sale. I didn’t feel like arguing with the sales associate as my time is worth more than the $5 hassle. Just frustrating as nothing seems to be what’s advertised these days!

If I could have rated you lower I would have!! We spent about $8000 cash in the last three months for our new construction home in Ray, ND. Was planning on spending a lot more. Now will never come near your store again. We bought a special order LG washer and dryer along with the pedestals. We went to put them together and they ordered me blue pedestals with out black units. So I called to get new ones ordered and mentioned I would return them Monday. Was informed it was past 30 days so no return! Are you kidding me. You order wrong parts and I can’t return them. Wait it gets better! So if I open a PREMIUM credit card with them then they will return them!! So cash is no longer good? That is the worst customer service ever!! I’ll shop elsewhere where cash is still valued!

love lowes, staff is very friendly.
do not get large items as "delivery" because you are subject to a third party and their whims whether or not the order gets picked up. it's like door dash for drywall (and they will leave it in a puddle on your driveway), or make you wait 3 days and cancel your order. i took off one star for the confusion, since the order wasn't fulfilled by lowes.
the little builder program for kids is awesome and my son loves it.

I had a bad experience at Menards, will come here. I came in looking at sheets of wood. Walking around looking at the products, I was asked if I needed help? More than one employee too. I was lost, and one guy helped me. I showed him what I wanted or needed, and he showed me a piece, that I asked to be cut down, which he did. Unfortunately, it is way too heavy for me, much less for its use. One of the workers is a neighbor, the other was Kristal or Krista? The pieces will be given to my uncles who farm, so not a loss after all!
