I love coming into Lowes because Im always able to find what im looking for but, this time I struggled a lil bit but an employee was able to assist me. Then while I was at self-checkout the older man that was running self checkout was literally so close and up on my kids , didnt understand personal space whatsoever, my 10 year old felt so uncomfortable because she said he was getting closer and closer and standing literally on her basically, right behind her and he just kept being weird and talking to me kids and just rudely staring at all of us without saying a work and at the point I had already rung my stuff up and it was in the bag. So I felt weird being stared down like that. Im literally not that type of person to care when someone is staring me down but this man was doing it so carelessly and making my kids uncomfortable, he also walked right up to my 4 year old in the cart and was all but making him fist bump him and my 4 year old was obviously not okay with that , so he didnt get the hint and still just stayed around bugging us at this point. I was looking back giving him this annoyed look as im finishing up to pay and he just kept on communicating with my kids who were trying there best to ignore him. Anyway maybe he was a nice man but, he was being very strange, making us feel uncomfortable and just made me feel like I was doing something wrong.

This is the store in Mt Airy. So disappointed, went in with a list of what I needed and didn't find a single item, and I had on line to see if they had the items. So that was a double waste of my time. I will NOT be going there again. I don't care how far I have to drive! I have never experienced this at ANY other Lowes!!

Asked a simple question about if they had something in stock to the girl in the customer service section near the front with a bun up hair style only for her to say no and say a sly comment as well thinking I wouldn’t hear. I understand it must be exhausting to be asked the same question but a simple no would do not talk about how I need to stop doing everything last minute. I just came from the Lowe’s in Kernersville they didn’t have any of the item I was looking for either but at least they wasn’t rude about me asking.

I had to replace a storm door at my home and the contractor recommended the Lowes Store on Hanes Mall Blvd, Winston-Salem, to pick out a replacement. I was so impressed with my salesman, Ronny. This guy really knows his doors! And not only was he knowledgeable, he took all the time I needed to answer my questions, and there was no pressure to buy. I was looking at a more upscale door and we ended up coming to the conclusion that the more basic model, which was cheaper, would actually fit my needs better. I felt like I was in that old movie, “Miracle on 34th Street” where the Macy’s Santa directed customers to get better prices for their needs! 😊
One more thing: after my contractor had installed the door, I noticed it was not closing properly. I called Ronny at the store, and he immediately knew what was wrong. The contractor had not adjusted a setting correctly and Ronny was able to walk me through the adjustment over the phone in 2 minutes. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty….!!
I used to go to Home Depot for my house stuff, but after meeting Ronny, I am switching to Lowes!
