  These guys are great! From the very beginning of the design process all the way through to the end Gordon and Brandon were extremely helpful. Always there to answer any questions or concerns. We didn’t know anything about Barefoot Backyards before we started and kind of took a leap of faith with them and now we are extremely happy that we did!

  I’m not usually a review guy, but Gordon, Brandon and their team certainly deserve one. From the start, they were tremendous to deal with. They were not pushy like several of the other companies we received quotes from. Other companies insisted on certain designs, need for a retaining wall, etc. Gordon and Brandon worked with us to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted. They were very straightforward on pricing with no surprises and delivered our pool from start to finish in more or less months when other companies provided a much longer timeline. They are always incredibly responsive and helpful and we are extremely satisfied with the end product and so happy we used Barefoot.

  My wife and I were interested in installing a small inground pool (10 ft x 20 ft) off the back patio of our newly built house. My wife contacted many companies and we rarely got a response back. One company did come out and we were in sticker shock for the estimate to install a small pool. We stopped into a different pool construction store and received a similar estimate. We had pretty much given up hope that we would be able to install a pool anytime in the near future. My wife saw an ad in Facebook for Barefoot Backyards. To our amazement they contacted us the same day and Brandon and Gordon came to our house to meet with us shortly thereafter. We explained what we wanted and the next day they gave us an estimate which was quite a bit less than our previous quotes. After a little hemming and hawing, we decided to move forward with Barefoot Backyards. Our pool was recently completed and we couldn't be happier with the finished project. In addition to the pool itself, a good number of extras were included in the price. The extras included the water, chemicals, salt, robotic vacuum, pool equipment instruction, equipment software help, and more. We were even able to use the Barefoot Backyard discount when we purchased some pea gravel for areas close to the pool. All in all, Gordon and Brandon were great to work with and we would highly recommend them if you're interested in installing a pool.

  If you are thinking about a pool for your home, you need to talk to Barefoot Backyards. We couldn't be more pleased to have chosen them; Gordon and Brandon are great. They'll work through all kinds of options to determine what works best for your needs. If you decide later in the process, that yes, you do want to go with a Heater/chiller for example, they're flexible to adapt. They are timely and keep you informed. Brandon will handle any city permitting you need, you'll just need to work with your HOA. Their crews work very hard and are obviously well skilled at their craft. From actual start of the dig to water in the pool was 2 months for us. As it happens, we had friends begin with another company ahead of us, but, they still are waiting on plaster in their pool and we've been swimming for a month. Our pool and features came out beautiful and it is a joy to have. Barefoot Backyards will do a high quality job that will give you a beautiful pool to enjoy for years. Make sure you talk with them, they are A1 top notch and pay attention to all the details. Give them a call.

  I hired Barefoot Backyards to build a custom backyard fire pit area with swings and seating based on a detailed consultation and mockup video and inspiration photos. Unfortunately, the final product didn’t come close to matching what was promised or shown. The most noticeable issues: The three wooden posts for the swings are different heights and not evenly spaced, making the structure look off-balance and unprofessional. The stone used for the fire pit was not what we agreed on during the consultation. The blocks are poorly aligned with visible gaps, uneven stacking. One of the retaining blocks even has exposed foam adhesive, which is not a professional finish. To make things worse, the final build didn’t match their mockup video shown during the consultation period. After the fact, I did more research and realized most of what they show online are CAD drawings or renderings—not actual completed projects. I should have done more research before agreeing to the build. I’m now left with a structure that does not meet expectations and will require additional work to correct. Unfortunately when these issues were presented to the company the themed reply was what did the contract say? Which I only received a invoice. So make sure whatever is discussed with them is written down on paper and signed. Otherwise... I would not recommend this company unless they make serious improvements in workmanship, transparency, communication between partners, and follow-through.
