Someone came out to measure we were told to go to the store and pick the shades. We were not guided or given any other kind of assistance in regard to what kind of shade would work best for our type of window. Our windows are flush with the walls, not recessed. When the shades were installed, it was anything but black out . My suggestion to you is, if you want window treatments for your home, get a professional company that will come out and assist you and give you guidance in regards to what product will best meet your needs. Lowe's does not do that

- GDGary DowdSep 11, 20251.0I purchased carpet from Lowes and it was installed last year. Less than 8 months later I noticed what I thought were seams showing in a couple spots. The installers were sent out to check things out and they determined it was not the seams but a carpet defect. Lowes Customer Support dragged things out until a couple weeks ago, I was informed that the carpet manufacturer declined any claim. If I understand correctly, the carpet manufacturer makes a product that Lowe’s sells but they don’t warranty their product for pretty much anything that may be wrong with it. And apparently, Lowes won’t stand behind products they sell - at least in this case. It’s taken all these many months to arrive at this point - no resolution. That doesn’t sound like a good way to conduct business and generate loyal customers to me.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
