Wow, there's a lot to unpack here. First, the garden center checkout folks are ridiculously slow. Twice this week it took 20 minutes or more to check out even though there were only a few people ahead in line.
Second, there are never any flatbed carts available inside, you have to pull one out from the overflowing cart returns in the parking lot.
Third, how do you run out of regular $2.87 top soil? I don't want your fancy $10 bags of dirt. Basic inventory fail.
Lastly, who decided to put the loading area right at the entrance of the parking lot, causing an absolute cluster of people, cars, trucks, trailers and carts as soon as you pull in?

The lumber register workers are not helpful at all.... told me I have to buy all the leftover junk in a bay before they will open a new pallet. And the stuff in it was picked through and all very crooked.

This rating began as a ONE and I changed it to a FIVE, keep reading and you will know why.
I use Lowes a lot but this time I think I will be done with them. The delivery service they use GIG (OneRail) is horrible. We’ve been waiting on an order and get zero response. Lowe’s says it’s not them it’s a third party but as a business owner myself I would load it in the Lowe’s truck and get it to the customer no matter what. Your issue with GIG (OneRail) should not be the customers problem. GIG (OneRail) leaves you on hold forever. I hung up after 30 min then tried again and hung up in 15 min. Terrible experience and holding up a job. And it gets better, they charge you for this phantom delivery company to bring your materials. Another day has passed and not a word from either Lowe’s or OneRail on this delivery.
Well this story got better when I spoke with Michelle at Lowe’s, overall Lowe’s themselves are great and Michelle was outstanding. This disaster was all with OneRail who Lowe’s should terminate immediately. Michelle somehow, once she heard this story, got her a Lowe’s truck and got my material to me quickly so the carpenters could return. Lowe’s…you need Michelle…she save the day and got you five stars as opposed to one. OneRail has got to go, worse service I’ve ever had from any company and they appear to be Lowe’s.

One of the most frustrating Lowe’s visits I’ve had. Someone was “demoing” a Bluetooth speaker and kept blasting it louder and louder, clearly annoying customers and even employees. It got so ridiculous I actually had to yell across the aisle, “This is a hardware store, not a nightclub!”—and they responded by turning it up even more. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate.
The noise was so bad we had to cut our visit short because it was setting off our dog.
To make matters worse, every register was self-checkout. Not a single staffed lane open, which is just poor customer service for a store this size.
The only bright spot was Shane at customer service. He was outstanding—stepped in without hesitation, checked us out manually, and went above and beyond by helping me retrieve my Lowe’s card through a text verification so I could actually complete the purchase. Friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful—exactly the kind of employee that keeps customers coming back

This is the most frustrating pro desk of any store across the state. Store manager promises to correct issues and follow up but never does. Many mistakes are made, prices are not competitive, pro desk associates are not friendly or capable. I understand that they don't pay these people enough to care, but i cannot be the only contractor who would rather drive to Home Depot or pay little more at Haywood Builders because of their lackadaisical approach to quality, consistency and contractor relationships

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
