    I went to Lowe’s at Waynesville looking for a hook to hang a wooden box on my outside balcony which holds plastic bags for my cats liter box. I wanted a good secure hook as the box pulled off from the wall while trying to pull a bag from the opening. I was wandering around trying to figure out where this item might be located at and what was available. I didn’t tell anyone I needed help just kept walking and looking about. A very professional, pleasant employee asked me if I needed help. I was pleasantly surprised by his genuine concern. He not only took me to the proper location but proceeded to assist in finding exactly what I needed. So appreciated River going the extra mile and providing excellent customer service. He made me feel valued as a Lowe’s customer. Don’t we all need more of that!!! Y. McDonald

    The problem with Lowe's is, Not enough people on the floors. You can walk around for 20 or 30 minutes looking for someone to answer a simple question. I don't understand what is going on with them. We went in and spent almost $4000.00 and it was as if, we had to hunt for someone to help us, so we could spend our money.

    We went into the Waynesville NC store last night to buy an inflatable Nativity scene. They only had one left, and it was the one on display, way up on the top of an end cap. They told me that they could not close off the area to get it down, due to so many customers in the area. They said I could come back this morning when they opened at 6:00, and I could get it. I walked in this morning, and it wasn't there. I started asking questions to the store manager, and he found the guy working in the area. I was afraid they had sold it. The guy working last night, Daniel, had taken it down and packed it back into the box, and had it waiting for me. Thanks Daniel, for your personalized service !
