- SMStewart McAteer1 day ago1.0Visited today with my wife and children in hopes of finding some indoor plants. Luckily we were able to. However, during the initial checkout in the garden center we had technology issues with unlocking our debit card. As fellow patrons got In line behind my wife and children, my wife informed the cashier whose name was Mike, that he could cancel our transaction and ring up the others in line while I was getting my debit card unlocked. Mike proceeded to tell my wife he would cancel the transaction but that he WOULD NOT ring up our 9 items again once we solved our issue. Instead, he instructed her to go inside and check ourselves out. I'm unsure when companies allow employees to decide when to and when not to do their job but if you are paid to ring up customers you should ring up customers until your shift is over unless you decide you no longer want to work at your job anymore and decide to quit. We treated mike with nothing but kindness even to the point we were pushing our cart inside to check ourselves out, however we were not met with anything of the sort. I will no longer visit this lowes even if my life depended on it and will be much more likely to visit one of their competitors instead of risking Interacting with Mike again. I would not recommend this location and highly recommend anyone reading this visit the ace hardware in waxhaw or Pineville Home depot as they're much more likely to treat you with kindness and respect.

Once it leaves their store and it’s out of the box they don’t give a damn about it from that point on. Craftsman generators and gasoline powered equipment is junk. Stay away from it.
