    I expected better from Lowe’s, but this was a total disaster from start to finish. They subcontracted my carpet installation to Legency Flooring, who kept changing the appointment, failed to show up, and then pushed the installation to next month. When I went to Lowe’s for help, they admitted the installer dropped the ball — but still refused to refund me until Legency Flooring “returns the carpet.” That means I’m sitting here out the money and without carpet, with no control over when the installer decides to return anything. Completely unacceptable. Lowe’s should stand behind the services they sell. Instead, they left me stuck between them and a contractor who didn’t follow through. No accountability, no urgency, and no real customer support. After this experience, I will never buy flooring from Lowe’s again. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually values its customers.

    Kathy in the paint aisle is an absolute rockstar! I’ve been stressing for days trying to pick the right stain for an outdoor bridge because stain colors look totally different on pressure-treated wood. Kathy instantly jumped in to help and completely saved the day. She brought out a custom sample board she made herself on real pressure-treated wood, with all the popular stain colors shown in transparent, semi-transparent, and semi-solid finishes. I’ve never seen anything like that at any other Lowe’s. It was incredibly thoughtful, unbelievably helpful, and made my decision SO much easier. Honestly, it saved me hours of frustration. Her knowledge, kindness, and extra effort really stood out. Kathy went way above and beyond, and Lowe’s is truly lucky to have someone who cares about customers the way she does!

    Wouldn’t but appliances from them again, they don’t last, and they don’t stand behind their products. Have brought several over the years and just keep breaking down; not cheaper brands either. We are done, and disappointed.
