    Went yesterday around 4:30 pm and asked the young man in the garden center if I purchased 5 bags of mulch (5 for $10) if I could get help loading it into my car, he’s said yes, he told me to look for any employee with a vest and they would load it for me. Then he said if I didn’t see one just to go inside the other double doors and they would help. I looked and saw no one so I proceeded to the double doors only to be received by rudeness. So I asked for a manager. Little did I know she was standing their the whole time and never got involved, I asked two more times to speak to the manager that is when she acknowledged she was the manager and said the loading boys had left for the day, i said what about the young man who has been standing there there the whole time, she said he’s a cashier, then I lost it. I told her I didn’t care if he was a cashier he could help. I told her they were fin lazy and I would not have purchased if I had known no help. So I am a disabled 69 year old who had to load it myself. Then after hurting my back I went back to the garden center and explained to that manager what happened and at least he apologized. The older woman who said she was a manager needs to be fired 1st not acknowledging herself and 2nd not doing her job properly. I will not be buying anything from this Lowe’s again. They lost my business because of the older rude, useless manager who also lied to me and was confirmed by the other manager. If she worked for me she’d be fired.

    We worked with 2 gentleman who helped us check out and get some wood cut into pieces for us. The gentleman who cut up our wood (Josh) was extremely helpful and helped us cut our wood into smaller pieces that would fit into our car, and also still be usable for my home project. We would love to work with him again. The other gentleman (whom i didn’t get their name, worked in the doors section, terminal 30) made a snarky comment to my wife about how we “sweet talked josh” into cutting more pieces than what is allowed. I really don’t appreciate the comment and especially being made towards my wife. Even if we went against store policy, a snarky comment towards my wife is unnecessary.

    Josh in the cutting department is fantastic! Super understanding, personable, and kind! He’s helped my husband and I with multiple house projects and we look forward to seeing him again next time!

    Edie and her team were awesome. We had a very large pick-up oder. Edie had it ready for us when we got there. She had a team of folks helping to load everything in our trailer. They were all great!
