Was noting items numbers and prices when Ray approached me and asked if he could help me. I was so grateful as he lifted the heavy item onto my cart, rolled it to checkout and then loaded it into my car. I never felt rushed and he was polite and knowledgeable. I will look for Ray when next I shop at Lowes. Plus all items I purchased were in stock, clean and securely packages as needed. An A Plus for Lowes Smithfield today! Thank you.

Asked another employee for help / update and proceeded to get a sarcastic response about how the gal in charge was on the phone, but that he could help keep me occupied until she came back. Some people don’t have time to be entertained, a simple update on expectations so I could plan accordingly would have been helpful. Definitely didn’t need a smart response from some low level peon. Get it together. Buying a new home in Smithfield? Go to Garner appliances, they actually want your business

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
