    We went in on 10/14/25, and were shopping for a washer. The man that helped was named Cable. He was VERY knowledgeable, kind, patient, and did not try to talk my friend into any more than she needed, as she is 82, and knew what she wanted to spend and what she liked. He was able to answer all of her questions, no matter which one she asked about or what she was asking him. Cable wasn't even working in that department, (he said he worked in flooring), but he didn't hesitate when he saw us there needing help to come and assist. We weren't there long at all after browsing. He followed through with the sale from the beginning to the end and was respectful and positive. I highly recommend him, no matter where you are in this store, he has a wide variety of knowledge on pretty much every thing! He was even able to set her up an appointment to have someone come look at her windows on her home. I can't stress enough the positivity and kindness and respect that he had with her. It means a lot in this world where people can be so rude and impatient and just trying to make another sale. I even had to take a phone call, and felt completely comfortable with him not talking her into a washer that had way more than needed, and sure enough, he didn't! Everyone should ask for Cable!

    I regularly spend thousands of dollars a week at this Lowe's and I constantly have to go behind the associates to check things. Most recently, I ordered a pallet of flooring. The associate that picked the order deliberately hid an open box of flooring in the middle of the pallet so it couldn't be inspected. When I got it to the job site and started unloading it, I inspected the box and it was immediately apparent that the box was another customer's return. 3 of the 9 planks were ripped down the middle. I called John about this at the store and asked if they would deliver a new box out to the job site since they obviously tried to hide a defective box in my order. Recently I had two deliveries go to the wrong address, despite having the addresses clearly marked on the road. So not only did I have to find the orders, I had to painstakingly move an entire truckload to the correct address. Then, the orders weren't even right and both had reject pieces of lumber and other items with defects. So I had to make two more trips back to Shelby. Is it Lowe's Corporates' policy to attempt to deceive customers by hiding defective products in online orders or just Shelby Lowes'? Absolutely fed up with the customer service here.
