As an enthusiastic patron of the 'Buy Online, Pick Up in Store' (BOPIS) service, I find myself increasingly reliant on this modern retail phenomenon. The allure of convenience often renders the marginally higher costs justifiable; after all, it is not uncommon for various online retailers to overlook the unique, localized clearance discounts that brick-and-mortar stores frequently offer. However, amidst this seemingly seamless experience, a notable and troubling operational flaw arises, particularly in the realm of parking enforcement. It has become abundantly clear through my observation that the designated spaces intended for BOPIS transactions are habitually commandeered by unauthorized vehicles, many of which are luxury models. The drivers of these ostentatious automobiles, enamored with the notion of affording themselves the utmost convenience, seem singularly focused on their own desires for proximity to the store's entrance, rather than respecting the integrity of the service designed for those genuinely utilizing the BOPIS option. This selfish disregard for designated parking not only inconveniences well-meaning customers who have followed the proper protocols but also raises serious questions about the store's commitment to accountability and customer service. Moreover, the persistent neglect in managing this parking issue could inadvertently create an environment conducive to retail theft. The easy access afforded to vehicles parked irresponsibly may enable so-called ‘dash-and-grab’ incidents, where opportunistic individuals capitalize on the lax oversight to make swift exits with stolen merchandise. This troubling development not only jeopardizes the store's profitability but also undermines the overall shopping experience for legitimate consumers. In light of these observations, it is increasingly evident that the absence of adequate intervention from store management concerning the misuse of these BOPIS parking spaces is a disservice to loyal customers and reflects a broader failure in operational oversight. The integrity of the BOPIS service suffers tremendously when those genuinely utilizing the system are forced to navigate the chaos created by an unregulated parking environment. It is imperative for retailers to recognize the critical role that enforced parking policies play in preserving the sanctity of the shopping experience, thereby ensuring that the BOPIS service remains a viable and efficient option for all. Ultimately, a shift towards stricter enforcement could transform this service from a mere convenience into a truly exemplary model of customer-centric retailing.

This place is a joke. I basically got bs'd into getting the credit card like 2 yrs ago. Lied to about a promotion. (The associate was mistaken about the details after I signed up). I spend a good amount of money here so I had 25 bucks in lowes money... today they won't let me spend it without an app! I have a dumb phone because I dont want want 30 different apps. I've never had to use an app before for their rewards money.. so I go home and get an old phone, get the app and they won't give me the 25 bucks unless I use my lowes credit card for the purchase. I dont want to because the interest is stupid... well the lady says if I use it she can take a payment right after the sale to the card.. surprise.....she actually couldn't. Don't even get me started on their HVAC service salesman that won't take no for an answer unless you're borderline rude to him or the pressure washer I bought from them that stopped working after 2-3 months and they just shrugged at me and told me to go through the manufacturer.

Edit. I called as the reply suggested. They also said they couldn’t help. What they mean is they won’t help. That’s why we involve legal help in situations like this. Lowes, you will help when a judge orders you to. What an absolute joke of a company. We bought a high end stove. It took 6 weeks to deliver. It arrived defective. They won’t repair. I have to mess with the manufacturer and I’ll have a minimum of 4 months with no oven. I’d suggest buying local. Lowes doesn’t care. I’ll share my small claims results when they fold. They will fold because losing in court sets a standard. It’s cheaper to settle. Watch.
