I came in in a hurry last week needing some lumber cut. After being deferred for assistance by two associates, I was informed that the panel saw in the lumber department was down, preventing staff from cutting wood for customers. No notice was placed at the store on this matter.
While equipment failures are understandable, there should be a failover process in place for scenarios like this. Lumber cutting is a commonly relied-upon service, and when the primary saw is unavailable, customers should not be left without options. A documented backup plan, such as directing customers to a nearby store with a confirmed operational saw, providing temporary cutting capability, or clearly communicating expected repair timelines, would greatly improve the customer experience. Instead, all the employee suggested was I buy a saw and have them cut it for me. Fairly incompetent if you ask me.

I was looking to buy a piece of lumber and have it cut, but their vertical sawbwas dead. And they weren't offering to do it any other way.
I managed to find alternatives at the storr for my needs but it took longer and cost more.

I used my phone to find what I needed before going in the store. Found it. Just be mindful of people who can't park.

Had tile installed by legacy flooring. First off, we paid for a lot more tile than was needed and they didnt leave any claiming that they used it all. If we add up all the pieces of tile used, it comes no where near what was purchased. Second, they made a mistake and had rescheduled fixing the mistake 5 times now. We wait around all day and they dont show up. They did this on saturday for the 5th time and now it's "uhh i guess we'll come next saturday". At this point they need to come today. Not tomorrow, today, not "some time next saturday" when we will be blown off yet again. TODAY.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
