After renting a carpet cleaner, stump grinder and chainsaw on multiple trips, they guys in rentals are great to deal with.
Too bad it takes so long to get someone on the phone when having to deal with that automated BS of an operator they make you suffer through.

DO NOT GET INSTALLATION FROM LOWES. We ordered carpet for 3 rooms. After installing 2 rooms of carpet the installer informed us that the man at Lowes had not lined up the forklift properly when he put the carpet into his van and damaged the carpet. I called Lowes and was told they had the carpet in stock and would call the next day to set up installation date. They called the next day and said they have to order it. Then they called the day after and said the job was complete. We spoke to 3 different people that day and the final person said the carpet has already been ordered and that it would take up to 2 weeks. Two and a half weeks later I called because no one had called to set up an appointment and I was told that the carpet had not yet been ordered. I spoke to a manager who promised he would order it that day. Three weeks later, I called and they said they just got it in. We set up a date and it was finally installed. But the installer did not have the correct glue??? And he could not properly seal it at the doorway. He said he would be back the following day. After not calling or showing up, I called him and he changed this time till the next week. The next week came and again, no show. He finally called in the evening and said he's be by the following day. No show again. He called again that evening and said he's be there the next day. I did not believe him and was planning on going into Lowes that weekend. Surprise, he showed up. My kitchen nook was completely blocked with the furniture from the 3rd room for almost 2 months. Our family ate in the living room using a coffee table. I was told by the manager in the carpet department that I would be getting a credit for the damaged carpet and all of the hassle I had been through. Lowes called me to discuss my credit 3 days later. They blamed the damage to the carpet on the manufacturer and not their loader, like we were originally told and they offered no apology for the discomfort, the hassle, the multiple phone calls, the lies, nothing. They instead offered me $50. This is the epitome of disrespect. I was speechless. Home Depot has never done this and when we lived north, Menards never has either. Lowes has lost my business. Who treats people that way?? Apparently Lowes does.

I feel prompted to write this reviews based on years of negative experiences I have had at this store location. I have tried to politely address these issues in store and over the phone with Monroe employees but I am met with impatience and rudeness. In my most recent encounters. I have placed orders for pickup and they have been either lost/misplaced, extremely delayed in being picked, missing items, etc. I have 3 small children and really appreciate the work and time it saves a young mom like myself with the pickup order system. I placed a small order just recently on Sunday and it is Tuesday and nothing has been touched on the order. I call the store and get connected to the pickup order employee who asked me "When would I need the order by?" and then when I said that I had ordered it Sunday so before now would have been best- she rudely responded with "Well its going to take a while but we can try to get it to today". I told them I would be canceling my order and contacting other sources to place a more formal complaint. This is just a small example of the service that you can expect at this location. But at this point I am going to have to drive much father to a more reliable Lowes location that is willing to meet their customers needs. I strongly suggest that you save your time and sanity and shop the Indian Trail Lowes. I walked in last Friday and was greeted by at least 3 staff members. Unprovoked I had a paint specialist help me decide on a paint color he was very knowledgeable. The store is very clean, organized, and employed with people who actually enjoy their job and do not mind going the extra mile, especially for a young mother like myself. I would love if a representative of Monroe Lowes would reach out to me and I will gladly let you in on how your location is actually functioning.

your pick up department is horrible! my husband and myself placed an order through the app and waited HOURS for our order and it was never completed. We went inside yesterday afternoon to speak with someone and there was only ONE worker. That poor lady looked so frazzled and overworked. How is there only 1 person doing that job???????????????????????????????????????? We asked her about our order and she looked it up and it wasnt ready. she apologized and told us she was the only one there and she was loading appliances for other customers and that she was very busy. We just cancelled our order and bought it ourselves since we were there but that is ridiculous we had to do that. we watched her take appliances out to other people, we heard overhead pages for assistance at the pick up desk and she was doing it all BY HERSELF. that is not ok! we passed her in an aisle while we were shopping and she was walking so fast trying to do her job and she looked like she was ready to cry. needless to say, this was a terrible experience and i feel sorry for her. I think her name is anna or allison? shame on lowes for not having enough workers to complete customer orders! whats the point of placing an order if its not going to be ready when its supposed to?

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
