    This store went totally downhill. It used to be when you walk in an associate will greet you with a smile and offer to help you find what you need and give recommendations. Today they really made DIFFICULT to purchase a couple of items. Being on a handheld device seemed to be everyone’s priority. The edger we needed was on the very bottom shelf- we had to squat down to find the one we wanted. Not easy for not so young people to squat at the end of a day and see thru metal bars. It was locked in jail. We had to locate an associate, who unlocked it from jail then said we cannot have it in our cart - it will be upfront waiting for us because it’s a high value item. We located another item we needed and headed for the front. The self checkout section was completely deserted - no customers, no cashiers, no associates and no edger we wanted to pay for. We located a young girl hiding behind unlabeled tall shelves next to self- check out and asked for help. She said we need to go around the corner and went back to her handheld - not interested to help us. We went around the corner, the returns customer service lady up front did not have our edger either. She told us to go to the pick up area around the next corner. The sign said online order pick up. We explained that we did not order the item online but we had just had a Lowe’s associate take it from us 5 min ago to the front and we are trying to locate it and pay for it. They wanted to know the name of the associate, but we could only give his description to them. The same girl we saw before was in online pick up area on her handheld again stating we cannot be there and our item was not there. Both ladies seemed clueless and unable to help us. Ironically, we just happened to see our edger on the counter in an unmanned area nearby. It was placed out of sight but we were told we cannot take it. We requested the manager is called - we got exhausted from the whole situation and being on a wild goose chase. The manager came, took the edger we located and brought us to the self checkout section. When we explained what happened and how we were just trying to locate and pay for our item, he said we all have our jobs to do and he will talk to his team. Of course, the self check out station did not work on the first scan and beeped at us- happens every time - we called the manager back as he was trying to walk away. He flagged somebody else to assist us. 3 password resets later we were finally able to use our $5 rewards from Lowe’s. They make it so difficult to actually use any kind of reward or coupon - you need the barcode and a pin to actually use it and then it malfunctions until an associate gets involved. I thought everyone is supposed to know how to help customers purchase items and make sales… versus be on handhelds and not know what to do or where to locate items for customers. This is not the first time when associates act ‘bothered’ if we ask them for assistance with a purchase. They rather be on their handheld devices. I recommend you send everyone to Publix to learn what customer service really means and cross train everyone on how to assist customers with purchasing items in an efficient manner.

    I shop at Lowe's Matthews all the time. I wanted to buy a $479 lawnmower and online it says they match, I can't believe I just went in and they said they won't match Ace hardware. Their loss, I'm going to Ace.

    I placed an order for windows and doors on January 27, 2026. On March 1, I was notified that delivery would be on March 4, but it never arrived. Then on March 11, I was told it would be delivered on March 14, but again, no delivery was made. This morning, March 18, after I went to the store to inquire about the delivery schedule, I received an email at 10:21 AM stating that delivery would be on March 19. Shortly after, at 10:44 AM, I received another email saying it had been changed again to March 23. I truly do not understand how you can treat a loyal customer this way. This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
