    I purchased a toilet for my home and I made the mistake of purchasing the installation. 5 days later I find out they don't even have anybody in my area to do the installation and they'll have to try and get the company to relocate somebody and it could take another five to 10 days. Definitely not good customer service when you can't provide what you sell.

    I’ve been a loyal Lowe’s customer for years and always had great experiences at the Mooresville, NC location. Unfortunately, my recent visit to the Lexington, NC store was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Lowe’s. I went in to purchase a specific grill I had already researched. I found it on display and asked an associate if I could buy one already assembled since I had guests coming over. He told me there wouldn’t be any available until next week. I asked how long assembly would take if I did it myself, and he said around 45 minutes. I then said I’d take a boxed one—only to find out there were none in stock and none on order. I asked to speak with a manager to see if I could purchase the floor model. When she arrived, she quickly and bluntly told me, “We don’t sell displays. Corporate policy.” I tried to explain my situation and even offered to pay full price and the assembly fee, but she repeated the same line, turned to walk away, and said the store manager was on vacation when I asked to escalate further. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful. I wasn’t looking for a discount—just a solution. Based on this experience, I won’t be shopping at this Lowe’s again. I hope this isn’t the way customers are typically treated at this location. Update: Got an automated response just as i figured I would. I have learned my lesson. Shop locally. I will be sure and pass on my experience at every opportunity. I did purchase a grill from the local Ace Hardware. Totally opposite experience. No need to contact me or respond. Im done with Lowes.
