    Lazy !!! 4 employees walking around standing on their phones while trying to get help loading dry wall into a truck ! They sent a poor lady that couldn’t even pick it up ! The man at the register said “okay I’ll send someone out” waited & waited & waited for a man to come help ! Just loaded it without the help of an employee. I’ll drive to hickory next time . Much more helpful . Also a poor old lady was also asking for assistance with the dry wall to load onto a cart . No one came !

    I ordered a grill with assembly and delivery. On the morning of delivery, received a voicemail indicating the grill had not been assembled and to call back to reschedule. Called back and, after being forwarded around multiple times, was put on hold for 15 minutes. I gave up and cancelled my order via the website. Fortunately it was easy to cancel. Do not recommend this store for dependable delivery.

    I went to Lowe's in Lenoir at 11:00 a.m. on February 11th 2026. I Walk in to the return counter to return two .98 cent light switches. I told the lady at the register that I did not have a receipt nor the credit card that it was purchased with. My elderly mother-in-law purchased these switches while she was out for her home but got the wrong ones. I told her no problem I'll go switch them out. I had no idea that the policy at Lowe's had changed as of January 12th 2026. If you do not have proof of purchase you no longer get store credit. I didn't think it would be such a big deal since it was only $2. They said there was nothing they could do. Okay so be it. No not that simple. The young girl running the opposite register just had to speak out with a horrible attitude and go the policy has changed it's listed up there look up there. You need to learn how to read the policy. Well at this time I am no longer calm because I have had three strokes and suffer from mental issues. I demand a manager. Neither one of them would get a manager. Just so happen a manager comes walking by. This manager I do not remember his name wants to know what the problem is. I proceed in telling him exactly what the problem is. He tells me there is nothing he can do and he will talk to her at some point. This did not solve the problem at all. This actually made me more angry because nothing was getting done. I shop inside of the store every single day of the year when they're open. I know half of the employees in here really well. 90% of the employees are really good here and have gotten better over the past year and a half. The new person at the register with the attitude needs to be fired. Someone should have told me they were sorry for how I was treated. I got told there's nothing they can do. The policy is the policy. If you go to customer service inside of Lowe's you will see the policy notice is on the wall to your right. It is literally 10 to 12 ft in the air and written fairly small. I have bad eyesight and wear glasses which only helps a little bit. I cannot read the sign. Did anyone offer to read the sign to me? NO.... Instead I was faced with an attitude. If this is a brand new policy and it has been updated as of January 12th 2026. Shouldn't it be low enough and easy enough to read by the public? How dare someone have an attitude that comes in the store everyday purchasing stuff to help pay their bills because they need a job. Someone that is elderly and can't read a sign 12 ft in the air. I can't believe nothing was done at all. I also bet nothing will be done after this gets posted. I will give exactly 30 days to see if anything is done to fix this matter. If it is not then goodbye Lowe's home improvement. Hello home Depot of Hickory...... I'll be waiting.

    Love how the store is laid out. Easy to find items. The best part is every time I've gone straight to customer service to inquire about an item, I've been given easy directions & sent directly to where I needed to go! Likewise the staff o n the floor are super helpful when needed. Also impressed with the cleanliness even in the outdoor section.

    Waiting on straw bale's going on 35 minutes now and still waiting. I called customer service and they said they are going to get someone to come and give me the straw I been waiting on
