    always have a great experience and we are a Lowe’s family through and through. But today at self checkout Pam was extremely rude.

    ** It is worth your time to drive across town to another location** Unfortunately, the customer service at the Yopp location is terrible. I'm certain it's not a reflection of all of the employees at this location, but the percentage of rude employees at this location is high enough that I will drive across town to Home Depot from this point forward. On 1/1/2026 I encountered Linda at 17:03 on terminal 02. I am not sure what had her is such a terrible mood, but management should consider moving her away from the register if this is normally her demeanor. In a two-minute encounter she successfully changed what had been a very pleasant day. Before leaving, I spoke to a supervisor who seemed especially overwhelmed with the situation, leaving me confident that Linda learned nothing about customer service. Like I said before, it's unfortunate that the location closest to me has the highest percentage of rude employees leading me to presume management at the Yopp location is either incompetent or apathetic. I attempted to provide this feedback to Lowes directly through the website but could not find a customer evaluation portal. I tried to connect through Live Chat as well and it did not load. Based on previous 1 star reviews I read, I see that Lowes likes to comment to call customer service. That comment is not necessary. I have tried twice to provide feedback to you about the Yopp location. This review is to inform potential customers about my poor experience.

    Went to Lowes, 425 Yopp Road, NC (Store # 2737) to make a Christmas purchase with my grandson.( 11/22) While looking we asked for assistance to the tool boxes & cabinets. The gentleman assisting was not knowledgeable about policies. I was told that it was free shipping. Great! We go to make the purchase. He is military, so we use his ID for the discount. The cashier, not knowledgeable either, calls back when asking about free delivery to confirm what I was told. No communication to me, so I'm thinking its resolved. I asked her if she needs to scan his ID, which is normal procedure for military purchases, she says no. 11/24 it was delivered. I look at the receipt; I was charged delivery and no Military discount. I call the store. No satisfaction. I was told free delivery if I was rewards member, which I am. Then told if I requested same day delivery that's why I was charged. I never requested same day, they told me "when" they could deliver. This entire experience was completely unprofessional. It sounds like they have no idea what policy is. Truely upset about this entire visit to NC. I have always been a Lowes shopper, but maybe Home Depot might have a clue to their own policies. UPDATE: As you see below, Lowes would like contacted to assist in resolution. I call the Customer Service line provided, only to be transferred 3 times and end up back at the store. A member of the mgmt team advises they can't assist and call the C.S. line. OK. I call back only for them to try and transfer me back to the store again. I asked not to and explained they (the store) couldn't assist. After further research at the C.S. line, I was advised that I need to pay the delivery fee since I requested "same day delivery". I calmly stated that I never requested such service on 11/22 (Saturday). They advised they could deliver on 11/24 (Monday). Which I agreed to. The C.S. line advised that only the store can issue the credit for delivery. If I am to pay for a same day delivery service then it should had been delivered Saturday and not 2 days later on Monday. Please make this make sense.
