    The associates are some of the friendliest and helpful people in the industry. Aisles are clean, enormous selection of anything and everything relating to home improvement, with an excellent selection of products geared towards professionals as well.     I have never been treated so badly by customer service employee's! I was shopping at the Huntersville location buying a piece of wood that I needed cut. I referred to my measurement and let the employee know I needed “33 point two five” inches cut off. He proceeded to yell across the isle to another employee to make fun of the way I said it “ haha it’s 33 and three quarters. Both laughed and another man(I think the manager) looked at me and rolled his eyes (kinda saying”don’t mind them, they’re idiots”). The older man took me back to have the wood cut and proceeded to repeat my infraction of words about three more times(in front of other customers). I got my wood and walked over to the jigsaws to see what I needed to cut smaller pieces of the same wood. I needed help finding what I needed and asked an employee when he had a minute I had a couple of questions. At the same time the other guy that was laughing with the older man(at my expense) proceeds to say “ this lady needs help with everything today”. As I was looking around that department he kept looking at me. Needless to say I was very uncomfortable by this point and I just wanted to get out of there! I can appreciate trying to cut up and have fun at work but not at the customers expense. Especially that I am a woman and they made me feel very dumb and small. I’m sure if my husband were with me this would not have happened in this way. One last point, I had just come from Home Depot right before. They did not have the right size piece of wood which brought me to Lowe’s. Everyone there was friendly and continuously asking if I needed any help. Unfortunately I did not get that same treatment at your store. I often shop at the Lowe’s in northlake and have never been made to feel like a fool. I’ve always been respected as a woman and treated with kindness. I will not be back to this Lowe’s again. When I am in Huntersville I will choose Home Depot every time. I truly hope this is addressed with the older (New Yorker) man in the wood department and the younger guy(not wearing a vest) in the tools department. Plus the manager that sat back and watched it happen, as he obviously knew this was inappropriate but said nothing besides rolling his eyes.

    I’m giving Lowe’s a one start because of the credit card company they use. Synchrony financial. I have had this card for years. Never a late payment and no outstanding balance. Today my card was cancelled without a balance on it. I use the card weekly. My credit is in the 820-830 range. They say I’m a payment risk. My income goes up every year. Now they say I have to reapply for another card. Lowe’s needs to make a change because I want to use another retailer. They just lost a valuable customer. I buy all Kobalt tools. I reached out to the response to this review. Just was giving an apology and said they will pass it up the line.
