- GGGWSFeb 25, 20264.0Update: I was able to speak to one of the managers, Joe, and explained the situation. A satisfactory resolution was reached so I'm updating this review. I'm still leaving one star off for lack of communication. Bought a new dishwasher online with pick up in store. New dishwasher...not open box or display. I received a dishwasher that had been opened for install for another customer who decided they didn't want the dishwasher. The dishwasher had no box, no protection, and all components shoved inside it. I received no communication, no apology, no discount for an open box item...nothing. If this would have been communicated ahead of time, I would have made other arrangements. I took the dishwasher because I needed it and it would have been at least another month before I would have had the time to do this over. Already had to take time off work for this waste of time. This, coupled with past incidents where they have damaged appliances during install, I'm done with this store.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
