Wow! 4.0? Nepotism is alive and thriving in Franklin, NC. My parents have been very loyal Lowe's customers for decades. When the Lowe's was out on the Highlands Road, my father who was a tile setter always shopped at Lowe's. After my father passed in 2004, my mother has always shopped at Lowe's.
Every single appliance in her home save as of today 1, was bought at the Franklin Lowe's. That relationship has ended. Mom is 94 years old and she needed to buy a new fridge. The one she had while worked was worn out and was making noises indicating that it was probably at the end.
So being proactive instead of reactive, she went to Lowe's. She gave the man her measurements. He showed her a fridge and she purchased it and they set the delivery for today. It didn't fit. It was too tall. Now the most sane and logical thing is that they put her old fridge back and plug it in. No! They hauled the new one that doesn't fit AND her fridge off.
Told her that they would call in the issue and someone would get back to her. So she waited. And waited. Then she called Lowe's after an hour and they knew absolutely nothing about it. They told her if she went to the store they could fix it and she could get a fridge by tomorrow. They refused to help her. She is 94 years old. So she went home and called me.
Happily she was able to get a fridge at Circuit World and they delivered it today. But Lowe's abandoned her and didn't give a crap. Lowe's abandoned her on a Saturday in a small town with limited options and no time to fix it. They didn't care if she had spoiled food and she lives on a fixed income. They didn't care that they created panic, fear, and anxiety to a 94 year old woman. They might as well have spit in her face. Being a loyal customer means nothing anymore in Franklin.
Lowe's had better refund her every single penny or I will bill them in turn for my time it took to fix the situation because it wasn't my mother that made the mistake. That was 100 percent on Lowe's. When you have a customer come in with measurements of 36 by 70 inches, you don't sell a 72 inch fridge. In the meantime, if you need an appliance, furniture, etc.....the guys at Circuit World in Westgate Shopping Center are absolutely fabulous to work with. They truly go above and beyond. Lowe's could learn a thing or two from them.

Unfortunately, this specific store (yes Franklin NC) is ran about as low grade as it comes. Which is unfortunate in such a nice quaint town. Hopefully management can be cleaned up and more qualified professionals be allowed to run this store; giving customers like myself and family better quality service. Not mediocre service. Very unfriendly to children and customers. Such a shame.

Don't go here for Flooring! Went to this Lowe's to see about having flooring installed and got a couple of flooring samples. I went with one of the samples as the color was complimentary to the wood trim in my house. Installation was about 10 days later and after the installers had left I noticed about 15 areas where the joints of the planks were raised about 1/2 inch. Not much, but not flush as it should be. Installer came back and took some planks to inspect and then I was told by Service Pros, who Lowe's contracts out to, that he would return on a certain date to possibly correct. Never heard or saw the installer on this day. I called Service Pros who then handed me off to Lowe's to follow up. Was told the type of flooring I purchased has a tendency to have raised joints. Then told the installer will come back in 5 business day to replace 10-12 planks. In the meantime my house is a wreck because I can't put back the furniture and have it stored in my bedrooms. If they knew the flooring has a tendency to raise up at the joints why in the heck did they sell it to me? Poor installation that I am not satisfied with at all. They absolutely don't care after they take your money. I would recommend going somewhere else if you have flooring needs!

I waited for over an hour for help in Electrical today. The only one there working was with a customer over an hour. I asked for the manager of the store... didn't come. The assistant manager came, he was not only unhelpful... he was sassy with me. They are understaffed and not helpful, I do not recommend going to this store until they hire better staff from the management down.
Home Depot in Clayton Ga. Is my new go to store. The date today is 3/18/26.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
