The associates and the people at the cash registers made me feel very comfortable, and I was treated so well, better than I've ever been treated before. - ILIgor LapshinDec 5, 20251.0Never rent anything from Lowe’s. NEVER!!! I rented a boom lift from Lowe’s on Saturday, November 29th for one day. I spent two hours trying to level the lift, it locked up and stopped working. We contacted their service department — no one answered. We went to the store, but the manager wasn’t there. They promised to pass the information along the next day. On Sunday, the manager never called back. We called again, and finally a mechanic came out. He checked it and said another mechanic with a computer was needed to unlock the lift. On Monday, another mechanic with a computer arrived, worked for 3 hours, and only then were we able to return the lift to the store. In the end, they charged us for 3 days of rental, for 3 hours of mechanic labor, and they won’t return the deposit. And I didn’t even get to use the lift. Thank you, Lowe’s — I’m no longer your customer.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
