  New pool owner with lots of questions. Thomas was incredibly helpful and explained what I needed to do in language that made sense. I went from arriving feeling overwhelmed to leaving confident. Lovely experience.

  I’ve been a loyal Leslie’s customer for regular water tests and purchasing all my pool chemicals, usually with great experiences—especially at the Matthews location. Unfortunately, my visit to the Pineville store was a different story. I worked with Thomas K., who was less than helpful and dismissive when I explained that I had followed all instructions from my last water test but my levels were worse or unchanged. When I asked about the salt reading, he told me Leslie’s salt readings are inaccurate and “everyone knows that,” even though my previous test results clearly highlighted the salt level as something to adjust. That left me questioning the rest of the results. His overall attitude felt combative rather than helpful, and I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. While I may continue shopping at the Matthews location, I’ll be avoiding Pineville in the future—and may even look into finding another pool supply store altogether.

  Leslies is great when you need your water tested, or want to get pool supplies that aren't available at Lowes or Walmart. Good store, a little pricy on the chems, but if you go for a Salt system you won't need that much chems anyway. Leslies will have whatever it is you need for your pool.
