I’m upset with the corporate policy and the employee who recommended to me a bad product :( I had a really poor experience this morning trying to return sticky clips for outdoor lights that could not hold any weight at all. I was going to get command strips, but an employee recommended I get these instead and that they would work better. Apparently, since they were in the holiday section you have to return it by the 24th? They are literally standard outdoor light clips and have nothing holiday about them. The product is not good and I think it’s strange they don’t even allow an exchange or store credit. I’ve never had a problem at Home Depot…
- LMLucy MooreDec 21, 20251.0Shame on you. I heard this poor bird flapping in an inhumane glue trap, alive and in misery. The first five employees I spoke to couldn’t care less. One said he would “dispose of it” and when I asked if that meant just throwing it in a trash can he said “yes.” Just cruel. Finally I spoke with the kindest person, Shahin, who cared enough to help me. We used oil to help the bird out of the trap but it was so mangled and helpless that I had to take it to the parking lot and put it out of its misery. Glue traps are torture devices. I can only imagine how many helpless mice and birds are in misery right now because Lowe’s wants the cheapest method of animal control instead of choosing kindness and decency.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
