There is a young lady who stands at the front door holding a stick and uses it to point at customers to direct them to different cashier lanes. I’m not sure if the stick is part of store policy or something she uses personally, but being pointed at with it felt a bit off-putting. I completely understand the need to manage traffic flow and keep lines organized, but I think there may be a more welcoming and customer-friendly way to do so. I still enjoy the store overall, but I hope management considers a different approach to directing customers at checkout.

- KKKMFeb 11, 20261.0The people who work here are SUPER grouchy! They all seem to hate their jobs. No one smiled or acted friendly when I asked for help finding something. I couldn’t find what I needed and, instead of walking me over to where the item was, two different people just pointed to the back of the store while barely looking up from stocking. I wandered the aisles for 15 min before finally finding what I needed. And PLEASE can you get a normal point of sale system? There’s nothing charming or nostalgic about having to type in all the prices. The lines at the register are always so long and the checkout process is super inefficient. I hate that I have to go here at all now that Joann’s is gone.
