I rent a unit at Extra Space Storage that’s supposed to be climate controlled, but every single time I come by, it’s absolutely freezing inside! I store electronics and business items that are supposed to be protected from extreme temperatures, which is why I chose a climate-controlled unit in the first place. Instead, I’m paying more and more each month — with constant rent increases — just to walk into a unit that feels like a refrigerator. That’s false advertising and a total letdown for customers who trust their belongings will be kept in stable, temperature-regulated conditions.
