    Just wanna say how friendly and helpful that Jimmy is, in the plumbing department. This is way beyond a great employee. It’s as if he owns the business and wants to see it succeed. Chris the store manager is also so friendly and helpful. He is ALWAYS doing the work of others it seems. He leads by example by seeing that the job gets done. Can’t find managers these days that are willing to get their hands dirty and get in there with employees to complete a job.

    I could not find the gentleman's name on my receipt but he was redheaded and I believe he worked in appliance. I've been working for a plumbing company for 9 months and this gentleman is the first one out of all the many different Lowe's I go to from Charlotte all the way to Asheville, to ever even offer to help me load my water heater. Great service! Thank you.

    I purchased a $3000 refrigerator for a client and scheduled a delivery the same week. What Lowe's doesn't tell customers is that their delivery service is actually subcontracted out. Those subcontractors will not speak English (which doesn't matter but it doesn't help that their GPS doesn't work so you have to coordinate with them), they will be kind of weak young dudes and they will also be late. They were nice, and earnest however. The refrigerator sat in the carport for five days because they did not bring enough guys. The subcontracted company said they would call me back in an hour and reschedule with two more guys. That never happened. Instead, they gave me the run around and then I resorted to calling Lowe's again. Got the run around from Lowe's. Lowe's management cannot contact this company directly with a phone call. They have to use email and then wait for the company to reply. This is one of many tactics large companies use to a) get around paying human beings overtime, b) providing them with benefits and c) remaining accountable to their customers. One week later two DIFFERENT delivery guys showed up. Not two additional, but two DIFFERENT guys who were equally short and meager. There was no communication between the companies teams and when put on the phone with management they were basically like "what do you want us to do." I told them to take the refrigerator back to their warehouse. I now have to wait x number of business days for my money back. Again, a tactic used by large companies. It is depressing that these huge box stores can put smaller retailers out of business and NEVER be held accountable.
