Plumbing isle is a total disaster , nothing organized and low or no product. Hold on this entire store is a disaster. You can't find anyone to help with simple questions. The employees go out of the way to avoid people.
There was one employee that was helpful. She was the young lady at customer service who had to check me out because self checkout for cash was down. Imagine that. Someone may actually want to pay with cash.

You're better off driving to this store if you need help. No one answers the phone at this place. I spent the entire drive to Lowe's on blowing Rock Rd , Boone waiting for someone to answer. I had to go inside and track down the associate myself. Funny, you usually see Lowe's employees everywhere in the store but apparently none of them have been trasked with answering the phone. I assume Lowe's has decided to rely 100% on AI to answer phones. AI is NOT a substitute for base level customer service.

I went to Lowe’s hardware on April 3, 2026. I was trying to find flooring for my bedroom when a shorter blonde older lady approached me with chains around her neck saying “they would not let her take them off unless we got a credit card” she continue to harass me in my friend and we even asked about a floor option and she just kept harassing us about the credit card. I’m a minor I can’t even get one.

Manager Josh was outstanding, and really treated the customer with the highest respect. There was a mishap with a large freezer we had ordered online. The website listed it as in stock, when in fact they did not have a working one in stock. When we drove to pick it up, we discovered the issue and there was no date they could give us for another shipment coming. Josh found a very similar freezer, same brand, almost the same size, but was a little more expensive due to some extra features. He handled the situation better than we even expected, and we greatly appreciate it so 1.) We didn't have to wait an unknown period of time for the one we ordered initially and 2.) we could leave the store with a great freezer to finish our project on time. All with way better than expected service. Thank you Josh, you saved the day on this one.
