Just tried to exchange a faulty dewalt drill here about an hour ago. The black lady at the return desk lied to me and told me I had to go to Concord Mills because that was where I had apparently originally purchased the item. I told her I don't think I bought it from Concord Mills, but it was possible I didn't remember, and she snapped back extremely rudely and said, "Yes, you did." Meanwhile her coworker and I were just trying to keep our cools because even the coworker was being made uncomfortable by the attitude of the black lady. Anyway, I went to Concord Mills and they said I actually got the item from Albemarle originally, and they processed the exchange for me there at the Concord Mills store without any problems.

I don’t know what’s happened to this Lowe’s location, but it’s gone downhill fast. What used to be a reliable place to get in and out has turned into a complete joke. There’s never anyone around when you actually need help, and when you do find someone, they either don’t know the answer or seem like they don’t want to be there. The shelves are a mess, items are out of stock or in the wrong place, and checking out takes way longer than it should. And the in-store pickup is even worse. Orders take forever, nobody seems to know where anything is, and you end up waiting around while employees try to track down items that should’ve already been ready. It completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. If you’re on any kind of schedule, don’t count on this store. It’s frustrating because this place used to be solid, but now it feels completely disorganized and poorly managed.

I have never posted a Google review before but I heard from my elderly father and mother that when they picked up 40 bags of soil for their garden; four young male employees stood off to the side chatting and never once offered to help. He loaded up every bag and hauled it all to the back of the parking lot uphill where he had to park. Absolutely terrible behavior from your employees. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never ever give this location my business. I'd rather drive farther.

Placed a delivery order with my local belmont lowes. Offered same day for $150 so I opted in. Took off work and waited..nothing. later received a notice it was delayed and would arrive next day. Took off work again, waited missed the windows that was provided called customer service and was assured it was coming bc it had been loaded on the truck..nothing. called again and was given a a gracious PARTIAL refund for my $150 same day fee. Yes partial, that was their way of making it right. This repeated day after day. Almost a week later my order finally arrived. Unfortunately I used all my time off waiting for deliveries that never arrived so I wasn't able to be here for the real one. 40% of the order was damaged because it was thrown off / dumped in my gravel driveway..I called to complain, was told to bring it back for a credit for new material.. lol so I wait a week for my same day delivery that I still was charged $50 for then you ruin my materials and Im the one burdened to load ot all up and bring it back?? No way. I was told a driver would collect it and return it the following day and that a manager would call me to discuss . Its been 2 weeks now and haven't heard from anyone tho I have called to remind them/complian 5x. Conveniently the manager is never available to speak to when I call. This is beyond ridiculous, I spend 6 figures here per year with my business but Im done after this . Way to treat your loyal customers. I hope people reading this take notice and dont find themselves in the same scenario.

Extremely disappointed with our experience ordering interior doors through Lowe’s. We placed our order back in September and have had nothing but issues since then. The order was incorrect not once, but twice, and communication throughout the entire process has been extremely poor. We originally ordered specific doors, but the ones that were ultimately installed are thinner than what we ordered. If we had known this from the beginning, we would never have paid for new door casings and installation of pre-hung doors. We could have installed them ourselves and saved a significant amount of money. Instead, we paid for installation that we didn’t actually need. To make matters worse, we had already paid a painter to paint all of our original door casings. Because the doors ended up being pre-hung, those casings had to be replaced and repainted, creating another unnecessary expense for us. The doors were also installed with silver hinges even though our order and hardware throughout the house is black. We even had to purchase black hinges separately, which should not have been necessary with pre-hung doors. Lowe’s should be covering the cost to replace all of these hinges so they match our hardware. On top of that, several of the brand-new doors have bubbling and chips in the wood, and one of the doors doesn’t even match the others. After waiting months and dealing with multiple order mistakes, we still don’t have the doors we originally wanted, we’ve incurred additional expenses, and we’re left trying to get answers. For a project that started in September, this level of service and quality is completely unacceptable. Lowe’s needs to step up, replace the mismatched door, correct the hardware issue, and provide a refund for the unnecessary expenses this situation has caused.
