The people that work there are very nice, but it’s impossible to get anything done. I ordered some appliances which got delivered to the wrong city and then took me about five hours on the phone to get it fixed because I had used a 10% coupon and no one knew how to use that again and more recently. I ordered a $3000 door and every week they tell me it’ll be in and every week it does not come in and they recently told me it wouldn’t be in until July! What happened to May and June? When I called to complain, it turns out they do have my door, nobody there knows what’s going on. It’s pitiful.

Hands down, the worst Lowe's on the Planet! No one there to help. No one cares. No one to answer the most simple questions! Have been here numerous times because of the location and it is The Worst! Make the drive and go to Boone. This place sucks! If I could rate it a Zero, I would!

Unfortunately for the community this Lowe’s services, the employees know they have a monopoly in the area. We are in the home building process and I am not exaggerating when I say that at EVERY point we’ve been forced to deal with this Lowes, something has gone wrong. When we go into the store we stand for lengthy times waiting on help and their own employees just walk by and shrug and say “we can’t get anyone to work, sorry!” From having items delivered incorrectly to attempting to pick things up from the store it’s been painful. Management needs a tune up or sent out to pasture. The sad reality is that Lowe’s Corporate knows the community will still utilize this store since it is the only one in a reasonably drivable distance in the area so nothing will be done about this unprofessional and subpar example of one of their stores. Do better Lowe’s Banner Elk.

How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions and the location of the store you selected when your order is ready. For your protection, only the cardholder or an authorized user of the credit card may pick up the order.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
