So I told the customer service person I would get it together and she told me she would cancel the online order. About two months later they billed my friend for an order he didn't get & I didn't pickup.(with in mind she done a counter checkout for what I got that day. I was told the online order was canceled but apparently it wasn't. I feel sure that it was a lack of communication from one shift to another shift or one person to another person. It woukd really be nice if someone from the main office would look into this matter and make it right. It's no better for a corporation to steal from it's customers than customers to steal from a corporation. My trip to Banner Elk was great. I got help from 2 sales associates that were wonderful. Today the service was great!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
