4-28-26 3:15-3:30 Customer Service desk-Kalispell Lowes. I had a very simple return and visited the "Customer Service" desk and was met with an exceptionally rude lady- I didnt get her name but she was taller with a heavy "Russian possibly" accent- she also has bright pink-purple hair and bright lipstick to match. I started off friendly greeting her and I could tell the minute she looked at me she was angry or having a terrible day. I placed my return ( 1' Shark Bite" Ball Valve I had purchase a couple days ago on the desk-she claimed she couldnt scan it and insisted she would not look it up (it had a description right on the valve handle) I ask again she said "NO I will not look it up you need to go in the back and find a matching one"- I politely said OK and ask which isle and she snapped and said "17 I think" when I ask direction to the isle she in a very rude voice said " your at isle 4, count up to 17 and pointed" I did as she ask and 10 min later I found the valve and brought it back-she had me scan my Apple Pay My Lowes Card" and just like that it was refunded-this could have been handled in such a better way-she was still huffing and puffing when I said thank you and exiting the area. I have been in here any times and the employees are always helpful and caring- my family and I would never feel comfortable visiting this store again. Thank you Richard Yow

I had a very frustrating experience with Lowe’s regarding their tree warranty policy.
Last year, I purchased three trees. I followed the planting instructions on the label and have extensive experience planting trees without issues. Unfortunately, one of the trees died within the year.
I returned to the store with the dead tree and my receipt, only to be told by the service desk that Lowe’s had “recently changed” their policy and now only offers a 30-day warranty. That didn’t sound right, so my wife checked their website, which clearly still states: “You can return these items within 365 days of purchase: Trees, shrubs and perennials.”
I went back to the store to clarify, but by that point I was 7 days past the 365-day mark. I spoke with the store manager, Larry, who again stated the policy had been changed to 30 days in recent months.
To make matters worse, corporate customer service was inconsistent. Initially, they also claimed the policy was 30 days. After escalation, a manager acknowledged that the 365-day warranty is still valid, but refused to help because I was just one week outside that window.
So ultimately:
Store staff gave incorrect information
The website still reflects a 365-day policy
Corporate gave conflicting answers
No one was willing to stand behind the spirit of the policy, even being just 7 days outside
This feels less like customer service and more like policy dodging. I’ve spent a lot at Lowe’s over the years, but this experience seriously undermines trust.

Less than zero but Had to pick a star to leave a comment. We bought on Feb7, 2026 and washer and dryer LG. It was delivered with issues on Feb 8th 2026. On Feb -15 2026 dryer stopped turning on . Called Lowe’s your customer service girls were unprofessional and when I asked if the store manager was available I was told No. Both girls told me that we had 48hrs for exchange and it would cost us $48.00 to rtn. Only if I was to have used a Lowe’s credit card then I Would have a 30 day warranty. Nothing more they could do.
LG washer dryer set comes with a yr warranty- buyer beware
LG finally agreed after a repair guy has been to our home 4 times put in a new control panel - still doesn’t work. now repair guy has ordered another part . I was given a phone number by LG and told to call Lowe’s and have them call this number dealer to dealer and dryer would be replaced . But Lowe’s said exact words we are not required to call. End of March still no working dryer .

Lowe’s is hands-down better than Home Depot. The store is easier to shop, the layout makes more sense, and I’ve consistently had a better experience here overall. The staff has always been more helpful, and it just feels like a smoother, less frustrating place to get what I need. I’ll choose Lowe’s every time because, in my experience, they’re simply better.

As a contractor, I am picking up Lumber and materials at least twice a week. I haven’t been to Lowe’s in over a year now and was blown away at how positive my experience was. An employer named Butch, helps me load up materials and even found me some discounted lumber to support them from cracking on my drive. Their cashier Tonya was also very informed about their loyalty program, mentioning the third team offers delivery to drop sites for only $30 which is cheap considering the time saved. I definitely appreciated their help and I will be going back again sometime soon.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
