- AEart erickson2 days ago1.0I bought a Toro leaf blower in January. It was made entirely of plastic. I bought the 2 year warranty, ( $85+$15 ) since it would likely break. It did. After 15 minutes of pleading with the associate at "customer service", she finally agreed to an even swap.(that's all i wanted) when I returned she said "o.k. I will do an even swap". A manager overheard and said " A leaf blower! No, No, No, he cant return that in store! He has to call the 800 number!" ( a piece of plastic with hundreds of moving parts can't be returned where you bought it) I was given an 800 number to a call center ( in another country) where she regurgitated my info, and said "unfortunately I can't help you, you have to call this other 800 number." I called the other number and a recording gave me a web address and hung up. Zero customer service. I will never set foot in that building again.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
