Lowe's/PSG lost a carpet shipment and decided to delay our install by over a month. Apparently their sketchy "warehouse" in Helena is unstaffed and stuff goes missing all the time. And of course, customers will suffer the consequences for their mismanagement. We requested a 5% discount for our troubles and Lowes told us “no.”
I would definitely shop at Home Depot from now on, or another local company that actually cares about making things right for customers!

I've been a loyal Lowes customer since I moved to Bozeman in 2016. If you shop at this store, be prepared to wander around the store for 20 to 30 minutes just trying to find a Sales Associate and when you do, be prepared to be helped by a nice but untrained person who will then wander around the store with you looking for someone who works in a department. Many days, you will go to a department of the store that is unmanned by anyone. If you buy something that requires delivery or installation, you will likely experience a whole new level of frustration, disappointment and inefficiency. Lowes uses third-party delivery and installation providers that are sketchy, rude and in some cases, cant speak in English. Recently, I ordered a large order of cabinets. Once they were scheduled for delivery, the 3rd party sent a solo driver to deliver them, which then required me to hastily find guys to unload their truck and bring into the house. The store acknowledged this was not good customer service, but offered no compensation or discounts to make up for the hassle. I could write several pages of issues i have had with Lowes and I felt compelled to write this review to spare others.

I purchased a stack dryer from salesman Doug. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to order exactly what I needed. Upon delivery I was told it couldn't be installed because of a safety issue. I went to the store, visited with salesman Doug and Ben, his supervisor. After a long discussion, the problem was resolved. Ben offered to bring another employee, Doug, to my home and install the dryer. They went over and above all their normal job duties to take care of this problem. They were very professional and accommodating. They deserve a 10 star review in my eyes.

This is a review for the delivery department. I ordered a stove and dishwasher on 1/23 and scheduled delivery and installation for the 28th. Unfortunately due to the truck getting stuck and an employee injured in the snow, delivery was not complete. I get that. Called and scheduled delivery for the 4th. I arranged for someone to be available to meet the truck at my house, at 7:15 pm, still no call. I called Lowes and talked with either Chase or Shawn. They stated that delivery driver called from the house at 7:03 pm. I called BS, as no one had called. They checked the order and the order was back in at 7:17 pm, and I was told there was a picture of it at their location in Bozeman, 60 minutes from my house. I caught them in a lie. I was told that I would be receiving a call from their Manager Ben. After receiving no call the following day 2/5, I had a friend pick the appliances up. There was not a 50 amp cord with the order, so he had to purchase one. I called back on 2/10 to arrange for the old appliances to be picked up as I had paid for that service. I am still awaiting a call back from someone who is capable of refunding me the installation fee for the dishwasher, the 50 amp cord and set up someone to haul away the old appliances. This past two weeks, I have called on 7 different days to deal with this matter and not once has someone called me back.

Stopped in on my way out of town thinking it would be quicker than stopping in Billings. I am recovering from surgery and walking with a cane. I needed a Dremel tool and glass nippers. So I picked up my stuff and headed to the checkout. The Dremel tool didn’t scan, so I was at a standstill. The lady watching the front end was chatting up some guy on the next set of registers. The lady behind me was also struggling and was helped by the customer behind her. Another employee walked by and went to the room by the checkout. I thought he might get me some help. Back out he comes and goes right past me. Meanwhile the lady is still chatting with the guy in the next lane. I waited a few more minutes and walked out. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
