How about answer the phone? Every time I call I’m greeted by an AI assistant. Then proceed to wait up to 30 minutes or more just for someone to pick up. Or they never pick up and I give up. Utterly insane. Never had issues with Home Depot. I like Lowe’s products, but you need to answer your freaking phone.

Good customer service should start at the top! I was in Lowe's on 6/24/26, at approximately 1030 am. I had purchased quite a bit of stuff and pulled into the pro area to load out only to find a white BMW with Maryland plates on it making it difficult to park to the side of the load out area. As I'm loading out three individuals come out of the store wearing Lowe's vests. They leave and as I'm trying to load my material up and Associate comes out of the store and asked me to move because it's making it difficult for individuals to pass through. At that time I told them I wouldn't have had to park where I was at had it not been for what turned out to be Lowes Corporate Personnel parking in the manner they did. Not a doubt in my mind had a normal, Lowes employee parked in the manner they did. Someone from management would have been having a conversation with them.

As someone who shops at the Bozeman Lowe’s all the time, I can honestly say it’s one of the best big-box stores I’ve ever experienced. Whether I’m grabbing quick supplies for a small fix or loading up for a bigger Montana-sized project, this place consistently delivers. And I have to say, the manager here is hands-down the best. You can feel the strong leadership in how smoothly the store runs and how upbeat the whole team is. It’s rare to find that kind of energy and care in retail these days.
Clean aisles, great stock, fair prices, and service that actually makes you enjoy running errands? In Bozeman? Yes please. If you’re local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and shop here.

Chose Lowe’s to replace carpet during a move because the associate told us they could install it ‘within a few days’ of it arriving in the warehouse. The carpet arrives, and the installer called to schedule - their soonest install date is 5 1/2 weeks out. Threw a monkey wrench in our entire move.
Also, I’m disappointed by their decision to bring Flock cameras into our community. This is taking a clear pro-surveillance stance against citizens and customers.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase.
