- SXSkyscrapers X4 days ago1.0I don't usually do this but I have to call it out. I've had 4 bad/weird interactions at Lowe's here in Waveland recently. 2 of them involved me using the self check out and the employee will literally stand 6 inches from my face while I'm trying to check out. It's called SELF checkout. Not stare at me and make smart ass remarks. They get TOO CLOSE during pin numbers. The other 2 were in the hardware section - one older lady with a short haircut just could not be bothered that I was about to spend $500 there in the tools section. The other person in that same section was a man with tattoos and he was on his phone when I asked him a question and then I saw him avoid 3 customers by pretending to be on his phone and then when someone forced him to pay attention he still stayed on his phone.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
