  The experience at the show room was top notch. However once our sofas were delivered we learned that our Ava power recliner sofa was delivered without remote controls on Friday, April 10th. The remotes were not delivered with the sofas, so we called La-Z-Boy in Ridgeland, MS where we purchased the sofas and asked to speak with Essence, our sales rep. We were told she was with a customer, so we requested she call us back. We did not receive a call back and we continued to call back several hours later. To this day we have never received a call back. When we purchased our power sofa we picked one on the showroom floor, but wanted a different material therefore a special order was necessary. Every power sofa we viewed in the show room had remote controls. We were never told the power sofa was came without remote controls and that we would we need to purchase remote controls extra if we want them. We only discovered there is a difference by going to the La-Z-boy web site today by looking at the pictures and options on the web site. My wife and I both visited the show room at least 3 times and took notes before we made a purchase. We are VERY disappointed as we were so excited and looking forward to our new sofas to be let down. We are also disappointed that our sales rep never called back. We also weren’t told there is a rechargeable battery option available that can eliminate electrical wires. We only learned this from the delivery staff. We would have purchased that if we aware that it was an option.

  I worked with Emiyah Williams at the La-Z-Boy in Ridgeland, MS, in 2026, and bought two leather recliners from her to replace two other La-Z-Boy recliners I've had for nearly 20 years. Thankfully, the exact same models were still available. Emiyah did a great job and was very nice to work with. The employees at the Ridgeland La-Z-Boy were all very friendly and professional.

  The sales people were nice. One got another customer and I asked Robert about a chair. I asked if he could take a lower price. I asked based on no if he could take my number. As soon and the chair went down in price he called me, was able to let me pay and pick up later. He was kind when I came and helpful to close out the sale. He chatted while we loaded it and gave restaurant advice for dinner. Will shop with him again.

  The gentleman that helped my mother and I took ALOT of time with us. They answered all our questions , which were many, and helped us get exactly what we wanted. Both the designer and salesman stayed after hours helping us load pillows in the rain and waving goodbye outside the front doors after the store had closed 30 min earlier. They were amazing . I would highly recommend the Lazy boy store near Costco.
