- CIChris I.Nov 5, 20251.0NEVER order a quartz or any countertop from Lowe’s or this specific location. They are extremely deceptive. First, whatever sqft you are quoted, double it. They will take a deposit and then delay the measurement appointment until after cancelation period has elapsed. They lie and tell you new sink will be installed with countertop but during installation they tell you to hire a plumber. If you decide to use them for a major project just be ready for a bait and switch. Save yourself the headache and find a local countertop supplier. Also the installers they use often miss deadlines and appointments.

DavisOct 18, 20251.0I try to stay out of the box stores but once in a while I have to but today I was reminded why when I need to go to Lowe’s I drive to Philadelphia’s because the customer service and lack of inventory at Meridian is horrible. Philadelphia customer service is superior to Meridian along with their inventory. Yesterday I went to Meridian to pick up a 12’ fiberglass ladder curbside pickup. When they brought it out I was in a hurry and didn’t check it but when I got home I realized one of the legs was cracked so I took it back today thinking they’d just swap it out. NO. I had to go to Customer Service, which was on the other side of the store and go through them and instead of exchanging it, they said they were going to refund it and I could just go buy what I wanted. Well, the whole point of curbside service was, I did not want to go through the store and drag it out but whatever. So I go to where the ladders are and there’s none on the shelf. Shocking right? I ask Employee if he will see if there’s some in the back and he goes back in 15 minutes later comes out with one and I proceed to look over it to make sure it’s not broken And he says oh I’ve already looked it all over and there’s nothing wrong with it. Well, he must’ve been blind because the bottom of the leg was broken and cracked. He said that was the only one back there so I said well I guess I’ve gotta drive to Philadelphia now which I should’ve done to begin with. They also better be glad. I’m an honest guy because I could have left without taking the original ladder out of my truck because none of them cared about coming out there and getting it. All they seem to be concerned about was having an Employee group party at the front because they kept announcing it over the intercom for all employees to come to the front for their morning party. Or at least that’s what it sounded like they were having. Luckily, I live just as close to The Philadelphia location as the Meridian one. It’s also much easier to get in and out of the Philadelphia location than it is at the Meridian location, which is a disaster area trying to get in and out of there. Gotta give a shout out to Miss Shirley at Philadelphia. Also at Customer Service desk! Her and the others that I’ve dealt with have all been so polite and excellent customer service. I don’t know why Meridian can’t have it.
