- APAmanda Pitts2 days ago1.0If I could leave a half star review I would! I was a loyal customer for 13 years, and unfortunately my long-term experience was incredibly disappointing. Over the years, the price continued to increase (without notice) yet the level of service steadily declined. For what I was paying, I expected reliable customer support but that didn’t happen. It was difficult for us to get someone to come to our house to look at the system. It’s extremely frustrating to pay premium prices for low quality service. I DO NOT recommend using this company. To cancel their services is an act of congress and you will pay a HEFTY fee for cancelling early. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM. IF YOU MAKE THAT MISTAKE, BE SURE TO READ YOUR CONTRACT WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB. After more than a decade of loyalty, I expected far better treatment and responsiveness. THIS company is a total rip off and does not offer fair prices.
- CPCody Pitts2 days ago1.0Beware of this company and the contract you have to sign. We had AST for 13 years and they would never upgrade us unless we paid an overpriced upgrade fee. We decided to go a different route and cancel. They were immediately prepared to show a contract we signed 13 years ago that automatically renews every year without any consent and they have the right to increase fees without telling the subscriber, an also a large penalty if we cancel. I can have an upgraded alarm system installed from someone else cheaper than I can get out of their contract. This should be illegal! It is very sickening that a business would do this!
