My issue is not with the store or product availability. It has to do with several uninformed employees in the Appliance dept and a MOD( 40-45 year old white guy.

For a washer for My sister who doesn’t have much $. Hers broke down. There was a Samsung Washer/Dryer Pair. They were made on 12/12/25, but returned by supposedly a little old lady that couldn’t figure out how to use them. So a really good mark down but AS IS. 1) the guy in that dept didn’t know if they had been tested to see if they worked and the Lady Manager was off yesterday. WHY did he not know the process.? 2) MOD told me this about why they are often returned and that the Appliance manager has hookups and checks them. MOD also told me the repair company for Samsung is out of Alabama. NO. For initial MFR REPAIR, they are out of Florida, and 8 hr drive. 3) guy in appliances told me no military discount and NO extended warranty. 4) as he wasn’t sure if it worked, I didn’t want to get it home , it not work, file a claim and wait a week or 2. Went to my truck. 4) after numerous calls myself, found out the Alabama repair company ONLY handles Whirlpool for MFR 1 year warranties, but they DO handle all Lowe’s ASSURANT WARRANTEes.
5) went back in and as it was rang up, both the Military discount AND the ability to get an extended warranty both were active.
Spent well over an hour. Either person that helped me (White dude and black lady) should have scanned it to see. Would have saved me a wasted hour of my life.

Very unsatisfied regarding the experience with the Lowes in Gautier, MS. I made a purchase online through Lowes in early December. One of the selling points in why we bought the washer was due to the fact that it had it listed on the website in bold text- comes with an extended two year warranty. I thought that was a nice little add on so we ended up getting the washer sooner than what we needed to for this reason. Both my husband and I have Lowes credit cards. We use Lowes often when we purchase appliances so this isn't the first time we've had something similar offered- as an extended warranty or rebate. Usually a separate email comes with the purchase that indicates how to activate it. We never received that. We were busy around Christmas too so when I started looking into all of this, it was January.
It was then I noticed nothing had been received regarding the warranty Lowes claims to offer with it. So I called Lowes, Lowes directed me to Assurance. Assurance re-directed me BACK to Lowes. I spoke with Dominque who said there's nothing that can be done. She said she spoke with Taylor, the Assistant Str Mgr who also supposedly said there's nothing that can be done. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE if you can even call it that. I explained that I literally have screen shots of the information from the Lowes website showing these details as I sent it to my husband before we made the purchase. Still said "there's nothing we can do." This store is more like a "hands off approach" I guess with their customers as it's too much of a hassle for a store to honor their products and what they put out and advertise to their customers.

A Christmas gift for mother in law; called Manager on duty to ask for assistance on a return/exchange/ claim with manufacturer after many attempts to follow the process of a claim, and Manger worked with me to get an exchange for 5 burner stove top with a power boost that suddenly stop after just 3 uses. It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
