    This is a review about how a purchase goes wrong….but it was redeemed in the end, which is why I decided to give a 5 star review. As a loyal (weekly) customer of Lowe’s Gautier, my husband and I shop here for all our home & lawn needs that we can. When our 3 year old washing machine died on 12/24/25, he drove straight to Lowe’s Gautier to purchase a full matching washer & dryer set. They worked with John, who setup and guaranteed delivery & install plus removal of our older pair for that Friday 12/26. While we didn’t receive a call that delivery was on the way, we were home regardless so that was okay. Our laundry had now piled up for 4 days, anticipating and excited about delivery and new appliances. The two young boys who arrived….informed us they were NOT here to install or haul away, simply to drop off and leave. I’ve never known of major appliances to ever be shoved into a garage & drivers exit while homeowners are trying to understand what is happening and when we will get the services we paid for. This was late afternoon too, and I noticed their truck was now empty. They ignored our questions, and were in a major hurry to ditch us and leave, which they did. My husband compared this encounter to a “ding dong ditch” drop off. They blocked our garage entry door with our new boxed appliances and as my son commented “almost ran you over, mom”. So needless to say…..we were angry about not getting what we paid for, as well as the “not my problem” closure on the deal. I decided to call Lowe’s Gautier directly, seeking help not AI answering service. I was eventually connected with Tara who was extremely understanding, apologetic, and shocked by our experience. She gave me what we were seeking….exceptional customer service and concern about making this “right” for us. She was going to speak with her boss, Taylor and get back to me regarding install and removal. After speaking with Tara, I contacted the third party delivery group and talked with them regarding scheduling. Sunday was the quickest, so that’s what was booked. I updated Tara on that in a followup call, and asked her to refund our delivery & install fee based on the fiasco. It certainly wasn’t her fault, and she was kind enough to speak with Taylor about it. Taylor called my husband, confirming Sunday…the refund….and apologizing for this situation. We appreciated his attention to our issue, as well as Tara. They renewed our faith in future purchases from Lowe’s Gautier. We requested different installers than the 2 who were here initially that just didn’t want to work or help us. Taylor assured we would have a crew who knew what they were doing, and he was right about that! The 2 man crew that arrived punctually today knew exactly what they were doing, they were professional, prompt, courteous, and detail focused. It only took them 30 minutes start to finish. We are happy in the end. My suggestion to your appliance sales people as well regarding your delivery team in our first encounter: make sure you give customers accurate delivery day info so they can make best purchase decision for their needs, and the 2 young guys on our first delivery 12/26 should be removed from your delivery/install team & placed in the garden center or warehouse stacking products…..but definitely NOT going into customer homes or garages. They give zero confidence on their abilities or skillset. Instead….our install team today should be recognized as the best you have!!!! When we purchase future appliances, I only want that knowledgeable team coming to my home. I know it’s done right✅🎄

    Did a mobile order pickup and it was perfect. Chris was at our car almost immediately with the 40 square foot tiles we drove from New Orleans to pick up. No one had these tiles in the New Orleans or Baton Rouge areas so we drove to this location since it was the only location with enough pieces so we made a pitstop while heading out on vacation. Thanks to Chris for being patient as we fit them in an already packed SUV.

    Online ordering is very slow process from the time my orders are submitted until it actually gets picked & notified of pickup status as ready. So I just go there & luckily I have run into 2 different people there that GAF & really helped me & I mean they both went the extra mile, Jacob & Melissa.. awesome service by both

    DONT GET ME STARTED!!! On how much I love this place and all the employees are usually the most helpful and kind. I've seen the same workers for quite a while which is great because they know me when I walk in and dont hesitate to ever ask me if I'm looking for something specific! Would recommend my Lowe's to everyone! Also they have some toys in there that are worth buying for having fun around town. But doesn't matter the task they have most things I need to get the job done and don't mind helping.
