    We purchased a dryer from Lowe’s along with the 5-year Lowe’s Protection Plan, expecting peace of mind. Less than two years later, the dryer stopped working, and the experience since filing a claim has been nothing but a headache. The service company Lowe’s assigned—Sears Home Services—has repeatedly cancelled scheduled repair appointments. It is nearly impossible to get help because they are AI-only, with no way to speak to an actual person. At this point, it feels like a scam rather than a legitimate service provider. To make matters worse, every time I call the Lowe’s Protection Plan number, I’m told the issue will be “escalated,” yet my claim keeps getting cancelled anyway. I’ve already been escalated multiple times, with zero resolution and no repair. I have completely lost confidence that my dryer will ever be fixed. What’s the point of paying extra for a protection plan if no one takes responsibility when something goes wrong? This experience has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. I will not be purchasing appliances or protection plans from Lowe’s again.

    DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES…..We bought a Maytag washing machine for over $600 back in July of this year… 4 months ago. The washing machine will not cycle due to a lid latch issue. After speaking with Lowe’s to get our proof of purchase which took FOREVER and holding their hands to prove to them that I bought the product there, We asked if we could just switch the product out. Lowe’s tells us to call Maytag and request a Return Autorization number and they will be able to replace it. So after calling Maytag come to find out it is the Lowe’s manager that has to call and ask for a RA#. After we called Lowe’s back the manager was less than helpful and unwilling to help us out. I give Lowe’s a lot of money every year but I can assure you I will be going to Menards from now on. Terrible service
