- KKKrisMar 25, 20265.0I went to Beautyrest Sleep Gallery with my sister Linda, who is someone who has both physical and intellectual disabilities. Jake Hewitt could not have been kinder or more professional. He spoke with her in a way she could understand and treated her with kindness and dignity. Because my sister has mobility issues, getting out of bed can be difficult. Jake guided us towards the mattresses that are firmer around the edges, which really is important. He also helped us decide if a low-profile box spring or regular box spring would be better by watching my sister get in and out of bed and asking her questions. Boy, did those two things make a difference! No more slipping and sliding out of bed because the edge of the mattress sags. She also doesn’t struggle to get into bed because the bed is at the correct height. These thick mattresses nowadays can make your bed sit up too high, even if you are tall like my sister. So we went with the low-profile box spring. This is the second bed we have purchased here, and we have been extremely pleased with the quality, price and customer service.
