    I stopped by Lowe’s early yesterday morning (around 8 a.m.) to verify the actual size of two doors I had special ordered. While I was in the receiving area, a young associate was kind enough to help me measure both doors and make sure everything matched up—really appreciated that extra effort. Later in the afternoon (around 3 p.m.), I called the store to see if someone could have the doors brought up front. After working through the automated system, I reached a team member who assured me someone would be available to help when I arrived. When I got back to the store, though, there was no one at the Pro Desk or the order desk. I asked another associate in a green vest for help, and he directed me to wait at the desk. That’s when I ran into David, who had just started his shift. David immediately stepped in to help. He called for assistance over the radio, but when no one responded, he took it upon himself to handle the situation. He helped me locate the doors, get them loaded onto carts, and made sure I was taken care of. On the way out, we noticed that one of the doors might have been missing brick mold. Even though it wasn’t his department, David again reached out for help to get it sorted out. At that point, another team member came into the receiving area, but instead of helping, she began criticizing David over things that were clearly outside of his control. It was honestly surprising to see, especially considering David was the only one who had stepped up to assist. David showed a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a willingness to help when no one else would. He made sure I got what I needed and handled the situation the right way from start to finish. Great job, David—and thank you to the young associate earlier in the day as well.

    Bought an oven from Lowe’s just shy of a year ago. They installed it for me hooked it up and left. All was well until a month ago, we began smelling burnt wiring. The oven quit so I had to call an appliance repairman to see what was up. What he told me was shocking. He advised the power cable was very loose which caused way too much resistance burning up the cable and the block that the cable attaches too. I called Lowe’s, was passed around and finally they advised management would get ahold of me. They never called me back. I tried another time to stay the process and was never called back. Their installation team almost burned my house down and they can’t be bothered to reach out to me. I’ll never purchase another appliance from them and I highly suggest you don’t allow their people to hook up anything in your home

    ⸻ My experience with Lowe’s Home Improvement has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. About four weeks ago, I purchased a window from this location. I was recently notified that it was ready for pickup, so I made the trip to the store only to discover that the window was broken. After already waiting a month, I was told I would now have to wait an additional two weeks for another one. Throughout this process, I have experienced poor communication and multiple issues. I was charged twice, had to make several trips back to the store to try to reorder the window, and each time my request was not properly handled. Instead of resolving the issue, I was given the runaround and left without clear answers. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability. Several employees simply passed the problem on to someone else rather than taking responsibility to help resolve it. Unfortunately, this seemed to extend to management as well. When I attempted to speak with the department supervisor in hopes of getting the issue resolved, I experienced the same lack of follow-up and communication. As a regular customer—not a Pro member—I expected basic customer service and accountability. Instead, the process has been unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming. I hope this review encourages the store to improve communication, customer service, and accountability so that future customers do not have to go through the same experience.

    Called ahead to verify if they had 92 1/4 in dryer belts the lady on the phone said they had them in store twice and told me what isle and everything. I drive 40 minutes to get there and find out the biggest size they had was 29 inches and they dont carry general dryer belts above that size. Waist of an hour and half of my time and 20$ in fuel. 1 star.
