Normally Lowes is a vary reliable store except for locating someone to help you. Bought a Magna lawn tractor battery $89. Got it home put it in mower and nothing. I took it to Batteries plus and they did a free check. Of course brand new battery was dead(never been used). I find it hard to believe these stores dont do checks on there inventory of batteries. Least I learned that Lowes in Liberty cant be trusted for lawn tractor batteries, wonder what else they let slip through the cracks....

Just had new quartz countertops installed. Really pleased with hallmark stone. As part of our overall project, we also selected coordinating tile for the backsplash. received the quotes for both the countertops and the backsplash. The backsplash quote showed the number of tiles needed as well as all the supplies. 3 days after countertops were installed we received a call saying they would not be installing the backsplash tile since the tile was on clearance (note, it wasn’t on clearance when we picked it out). I was told it was Lowes policy since they wouldn’t be able to warranty the job. Even customer care said there wasn’t anything they could do. I told “them” , I would sign a waiver for the warranty but was told it wouldn’t matter since it was Lowes policy and there wasn’t anything they could do. I had already purchased and picked up more tile than was needed for the project but again was told it didn’t matter. To me, this was extremely poor customer service. Everyone I spoke with wasn’t able to offer any solution and just kept telling me it was policy. I have now hired an independent contractor to do the backsplash. This experience will definitely affect which home improvement store will get my business in the future.

We went ready to purchase countertops and experienced terrible customer service and wasted several hours. Ended up going to Home Depot and had a great experience ordering new countertops.

The garden Centers are going down hill... Went to several locations on a road trip.. the employees treat the plants like merchandise instead of the perishable plants they are. And then Lowe's sell you trash and if you get something on clearance or on sale...They don't honor the return policy because they know they neglected everything and it's gonna die.. Lowe's is becoming a garden center scam.. so I spent 300 at Home Depot this time.. sorry Lowe's.. get your act together.. especially that Chillicothe location.. the garden center girl was glued to her phone, knew nothing about gardening, plants or her job.. yet the one person who had a clue and knew plants and landscaping was in a different department.. and not by choice!! talk about missing the assignment managers . Horrible customer service. I came and bought a washer and dryer set and had issue after issue before the first week. After having 2 dryers delivered that wouldn't power on, I decided to go for a refund. Now I'm having an issue getting a refund. I had initially gone back to the store to get my money back or possibly get another unit but the way that the manager Nathan treated me while I was in there and made me feel like he didn't care about the issue I had I'll never do business with this Lowe's again. Worst customer service I've ever received. Nobody knows what's going on.
