Came to this Lowe's as it is closest to my new house. Lots of projects going on and needed a few small things to get laundry set up. Walked in at 10am on a Tuesday, searched around for what I needed, found most of it. They only had the shorter dryer cords, all other longer ones were out of stock. And was only asked if I found what I needed as I was walking out by one employee in a group of 5 standing in a isle conversing with one another. I simply said "No" and continued walking. It was the truth after all. Get up to checkout and only self check outs are open. I may be old school, but I don't believe if you have employees there should only be self checkout as an option. But then again with the lack of help throughout the rest of the store, it's not surprising. The only glimmer of hope for that store was a young man named Ryan that offered to help with the self checkout. He's the only proactive employee I saw in the whole store. Will drive the extra 15 minutes to ofallon for future supplies.

Don't look to get any help from an associate, I had to restock the shelf myself with the product from the overstock from above after I found the correct item.

I have shopped this location MANY times, it is the closest to my house. However, when I went in for 6 simple pegboard sheets, I was met with too many people passing the buck on helping me. When I first arrived, I went to the pro desk and was ignored for a minute, then Rick looked up and I told him there were only 2 pegboards on the shelf and I needed 6, there were 54 in their system, so I just needed help finding them. He promptly told me he had a customer coming in 2 minutes and pointed me to ask a guy who was on a lift already helping someone with a big amount of concrete bags for help. It was going to be a bit for him to be done, while Rick was currently sitting. So, I go into the cashier line to ask her to call someone to help me...I get up to her after 5 minutes waiting in line for her to go ASK RICK ANYWAY, who is still sitting, doing what he can to not help. Still no customer in sight that he claims he was waiting for, so he does get up and looks around, says he can't find the 54 panels and to maybe try another store. I had borrowed a huge truck that I wasn't fully feeling comfortable driving because I am used to smaller cars...I wasn't trying to go travel to O'Fallon, St. Peters, St. Charles or wherever else he would have had me drive around too. I wanted to get what was needed and get home within minutes of my house. PLUS, this store had more sheets of it in their system than any of the other stores. One lady employee past me and said she was busy, but she called Bobby over. He looked in the back, called over 2 other people who couldn't located the boards and then finally saw them 2 aisles over right there on the shelf...they just had to get a lift to get them down. By this time over AN HOUR had passed in waiting for help. Bobby asked another employee to get them down. This employee walks off and never returns. I am an hour and a half in now, waiting...so I decide to check out and give up. I get to the cashier and who do I see just chilling in one of the self-check out lanes chatting it up with the cashier?!?! THE GUY WHO I WAS WAITING FOR TO COME BACK WITH A LIFT and simply get the pegboards I needed. I'm pretty sure every employee there was just waiting for me to leave, which I ended up doing until I saw him at checkout and he went back and it took another 15-20 minutes to get them on a cart and get me checked out. What a miserable experience when the boards could have just been on the right shelf to begin with and I could have self-helped myself to them and been on my way within minutes. If I had pre ordered the boards for pick up maybe they would have had to have put in some effort to simply shelf the rest. It is 100% time for some more customer service training for the current employees.

I recently purchased a weed eater that Lowes sells directly on there web site / app I purchased this unit on May 31 2025 and I have the original receipt, box , product and all items and even purchased there 2 year warranty that Lowes sells and advertised as hassle free . That is a joke ! Don’t waste your time on any extended warranty programs that Lowes is advertising as they do not honor the warranty nor what the warranty advertises! They make it sound like it’s hassle free but it’s far from hassle free even with original receipt if you ordered the product online, so online buyers beware! If they don’t carry the item in-store it is nothing but jumping through hoops getting any satisfaction regarding the warranty ( extended warranty) I even contacted the manufacturer while in the store that made and sold the product to Lowe’s and they themselves told me to return it to the Lowe’s store for a credit or replacement which Lowes does still have on there online app. But the store refused to exchange or credit my Lowes account even with there extended warranty and original receipt and packaging. Just beware of Lowes online purchases and don’t waste your hard earned money on a extended warranty for extra protection! I will pay a little more and buy my merchandise from Ace Hardware who honors all purchases with a receipt no questions asked!
