The orders are automatically canceled after 2 weeks if no stock arrives. Online customer service was courteous. I feel like World Market corporate is trying to rack up sales while not actually having the product. World Market is ownes by Private Equity who maybe interested in end of year revenue without having the product available.

I arrived at the store, went inside, only found two employees anywhere in the store (at the cash registers), each line was 5+ customers. Reviewing the email I saw that I could do a curb concierge pickup. I completed the info and went outside to wait, after receiving a message that my order would be out soon. As I waited, the cashier's cleared both lines and a third employee appeared. All three stood around for a minute, with me sitting in my vehicle on the other side of the front window, until one empl6 wandered off. I went back in to ask about my order. Employee 3 the had no clue what the procedure was, employee 1 had to help find it. Complete, utter incompetence. Pretty sure employee two was a manager, possibly named...Patrick?
