    Absolutely terrible delivery service. Do not recommend buying anything from this store. Also do not pay for delivery and install as they do not install it correctly. Terrible customer service.

    Don't get caught by Lowe's un posted return policy on holiday items. I tried to return unopened Christmas lights on December 26th and was told holiday items were not returnable after December 24th. That is posted on their website if you look hard for it but no notice that I saw in the store.

    I hired Lowe’s to install carpet in my home, and it’s been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a national company. The installation was handled by Marc’s Flooring, a Lowe’s subcontractor. The technician arrived in an unmarked, older truck, had minimal tools, and did not speak English. Although I had already removed the old carpet and staples, I told the tech that he still needed to finish prepping the subfloor. He struggled through the job for over 7 hours. Right after the install, the carpet already looked poorly done — visibly lifting from the tack strips. Within weeks, staples began coming through the carpet on the stairs, posing a serious safety risk. My daughter and I both suffered minor injuries from stepping on exposed staples. I contacted Lowe’s multiple times, sent photos, and even had a second technician from Marc’s come out — who verbally confirmed the carpet was installed incorrectly. Yet Lowe’s later tried to shift blame to the carpet material and never properly documented what their own technician told me. Despite Lowe’s initially acknowledging the issue and offering to replace the carpet, they insisted on using Marc’s again — the same company responsible for the hazardous install. I formally declined, explaining the safety risk and loss of trust, but Lowe’s refused to offer an alternative. They closed my case without fixing the issue. I’ve had to follow up repeatedly, explain the situation to new reps over and over, and have yet to receive a real solution. Lowe’s has failed to take responsibility or protect my family’s safety. This has been an exhausting, months-long process filled with miscommunication, false reporting, and complete disregard for customer safety. I expected better from a national brand like Lowe’s. My issue STILL has not been addressed as of 12-24-25. My carpet install was 05-29-25.

    I purchased a dishwasher from Lowe’s two weeks ago for a rental property where the tenant urgently needs it. The delivery was originally scheduled for last Thursday and never arrived. When I contacted customer service, I was told the delivery worker had injured his foot. While that’s unfortunate and our thoughts go out to the injured worker, there was no proactive communication or clear plan provided afterward. Lowe’s then rescheduled delivery for Saturday between 4–7 PM. At 6 PM, I received a call from the installer asking if I already had the dishwasher at the house—which, of course, I did not. They couldn’t locate the appliance at all. I was told, “Maybe Monday.” I’ve since learned that Lowe’s doesn’t actually handle appliance delivery or installation. They contract it out to CRST, which then contracts it out again to another installer. The result is complete disorganization—no one knows where the appliance is, who has it, or when (or if) it will arrive. Monday came and went. Still no dishwasher. I was then told they might be able to install it Friday. I canceled the order. CRST says I should receive a refund, though at this point I’ll believe it when I see it. I ordered a new dishwasher from Home Depot, and they’re able to deliver and install it within four days without issue. I will never purchase appliances from Lowe’s again.
