    Donavan and Angelica were absolutely fantastic at the Extra Space Storage located at 4175 Dunn Rd in Florissant, MO. They both were very professional and courteous. They answered all my questions leaving me feeling confident in the customer care and facility operations and accommodations. I highly recommend this facility for all your storage needs.

    Two stars because I appreciate Donovan (sp?) and the level of customer service he provides; however, his Leadership Team leaves much to be desired. There's no loyalty nor benefit to being a longtime customer. I requested a discount for my unit, as I've been a patron over 5 years. A new customer can rent my same unit for $100 less per month than what I currently pay, yet the DTL states no discount can be warranted. The best option provided was for me to move all my belongings from one unit to another in order to get a better rate. Now, if there's a great rate for obtaining a new unit, surely there's room for a meaningful discount that can be provided on a current space, right?!?! Wrong!!! This is disgraceful and a terrible way to do business. Providing long term patrons with discount incentives should not be hard to do, but for Extra Space, it is. I have resolved myself to paying this current rate. This review is simply to warn anyone who is seeking long term storage that this place has no loyalty to those who consistently pay on time for years. Find another place to go.

    The day I moved into my storage unit, I spotted a cockroach that appeared to have come from the unit next door. I immediately contacted the front desk to report it, and while they said they could spray the unit the next time I’m there, this left a very poor first impression. One of the main reasons I chose this location was because of the advertised “24/7 Access” on the website. However, this is misleading. While 24/7 access is shown, the actual unit access is limited to specific hours (6:00 AM to 10:00 PM), and 24/7 access appears to apply only under certain conditions or upgrades. This should be clearly explained, as it can easily lead customers to believe their storage unit is accessible at all times. Since the office was closed on Sunday, I had to go to Home Depot and purchase roach traps and sticky glue traps for mice just to protect my belongings. After driving 12 hours pulling a cargo trailer, I began unloading only to find a cockroach crawling in my unit. That was extremely upsetting. Now I have ongoing anxiety about pests getting into my belongings, and I feel the need to go back and tape up all of my boxes. When I rented the unit, I was told this was the last 10×20 available. Given the pest issue and overall experience, I am requesting a different unit. Ideally, I would prefer a 10×30 at the same cost for peace of mind, or another comparable solution. Overall, this experience has been stressful, disappointing, and not what I expected. I would appreciate management addressing the pest issue promptly, clearly correcting the misleading access information, and working with me toward a fair resolution.
