    Grossly overpriced by at least $100. The problem, a bad drain pump, was essentially already diagnosed b4 the repairman came out. I actually saved you guys a 2nd visit because I asked you to preorder the pump, so the repairman had it when he made the repair call. To add insult to injury, the repairman didn’t tell me in advance that there was a credit card fee of over $10. The service was very good, but I won’t be recommending Midwest to anyone due to your price gouging. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I was not advised of the price until after the job was complete. Afterwards, the repairman worked on the pricing with his calculator, & announced to me that the price was $336. I had to ask to see the breakdown, & never received an itemized breakdown on the invoice. He announced that the warranty was included in his labor cost. I never received an actual price for the warranty- nor was advised if it was optional or not- he just added it on with no discussion. After he left, that was when I noticed there was no itemized breakdown of the costs. It is standard procedure to fully itemize invoice items in this type of work. I was left in the dark on the details. I was not advised of the credit card charge until after he had entered the credit card info into the system. Also, both signatures I gave were after the fact. Look- I am a 72 year old retiree & I know good and well when I have paid way too much for something. He had the new pump in hand due to my initial research on the problem. The way I do things is to help out workers as best I can before they arrive. The fact that you guys elected to lower the boom on me with the price, adding things on with no discussion, is unprofessional, disrespectful, & unethical. So I stand by my statement that I have been grossly overcharged by around $100 at least, & when I sat down to review the invoice it was, again, not itemized. That’s disrespectful to one of your customers & an unfair way to do business.

    We always use this guy Vince, before we love him. He was good quality when Vince passed away. The company we used had gone down. I wasn’t happy at all, but now with this company this new company we started using and my sister Marie recommended we are very happy, thank you. Greg is the man!! He’s been here twice first time it was the dryer belt and this time it was for the heating element in our dryer. Greg is honest, professional and clean. I will ask for him if we have any other issues.

    Nothing but good things to say about Midwest Appliance Repair. I have had to make use of them several times over the past several years due to a high end Kitchen-Aid fridge that has been very problematic. Dustin came out the first few times and he was a pleasure to work with. When I requested him again for this most recent round of repairs, I discovered that he is no longer with the company. They sent Mike out instead and he was even more friendly and helpful than Dustin was. The service calls are scheduled quickly and repairs are completed quickly, too. You won't go wrong with Midwest Appliance Repair.

    they were very polite. got someone. out right away and ordered part and called to set up repair appointment. all done in short time as well. did an excellant job , left no mess and very,very nice and courteous. well done. would highly recommend them.

    Had an excellent experience with Dave and Midwest Appliance! He diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator right away. The part had to be ordered and he quoted the price and timeline needed. He did have a temporary solution until he came back with the part. Dave is very knowledgeable about appliances of all kind. I will definitely use him again! Hopefully not too soon though.lol!
